Victoria raised her eyebrows. She was actually trying to be nice to this woman. She crossed her arms as Marcella gave her better than thou speech. Any warmth she was giving her vanished, and all there was was a cold demeanor. After Marcella walked off, Victoria just stood there. She looked at the photo once more. How ridiculous to think she could have had that. Even for a moment. With pursed lips, she walked back to the kitchen, and resumed cooking her brother and sister's dinner.
Chris finally arrived with Daniel, and guided him to the guest room. "Give us just a minute, Cella..." Daniel raised his hand, "I'm just going to go to bed.." He said. Chris nodded, "Down the hall to the left. If you need anything..." With that, Daniel went to the guest bedroom. Chris noticed Victoria was cooking in the kitchen. "Victoria, you don't have to do that.."
She didn't look at him, she just focused on her task. "I figured it'd make James and Celina feel better..."
Chris' eyebrows narrowed, "Are you okay..?" He walked up to his daughter, "You can talk to me.."
Victoria had a look of confusion, "I never knew Anna Williams, or her son Sorin. Why should I be sad about it?" She looked at him, "Your children could probably use you, though." Chris felt a sting in his heart. He nodded, and turned to Cella. "Can we talk..?"
---
James listened to her. She put the blame on Liam.... He shook his head, as his face twisted in agony. Tears started pouring from his eyes, "If... that;s the ca--ase.... Th-Then it is a-all my f-ault!" His jaw clenched, and he looked at his sister, "Please go."
He needed to see Liam. He needed the truth. Now more than ever. He certainly couldn't do that with Celina standing in his way.

By now, Marcella was in her formal outfit and laying in bed once her husband walked in the room. She was just finishing up the last two chapters of her favorite book, as she closed it and set it down on the nightstand next to her side of the bed. "You know you don't have to ask to talk to me Chris." Marcella said to her husband, as she patted the space next to her, his side of the bed. --- Celina arched an eyebrow at her brother when he told her to leave. She knew he was going to be angry with her, but with her being the oldest sibling, it was her responsibility to lead by example. "No." She refused to leave her brother's room, "Leave and do what James?! Leave and you do what? Run off with your murderous boyfriend? Look at the facts James, STOP BEING SO BLIND!" Remember that lead by example? That died now. Celina was furious at her brother for being so damn naive. She was tired of him being so blind and love struck, that he wasn't able to see the wolf in sheep's clothing. "Whether you want to face it or not, your boyfriend MURDERED our family! Wake up! Smell the roses lover boy, his parents tried to kill our father, if that's not enough evidence for you, then I don't know what is! Hate me all you want, but I can guarantee you'll feel like a jackass when this is done!" With that, she stormed out of her brother's room, and slammed the door behind her with enough force to make a picture that James had of both of them, hugging each other, fall to the ground and shatter.

Chris crawled into bed with his wife, and held her tight. He was silent for a few moments, crying. "I just watched them take my sister away..." He buried his face in her neck, and tried to push out the images of Anna's body. "She was...." He could barely speak. "I always thought she was the invincible one... She could do anything." He shook his head, "I don't understand..."
He wiped his tears away, and held Marcella even tighter. "All these years... I could have spent with her were wasted.... But I was ashamed of my past..." He looked at Marcella, "I felt ashamed of her.... And now she's gone.... I can;t tell her that I thought about her everyday... Or that I missed her. Or that I need her. Or..." He words folded into eachother. He couldn't speak anymore.
Victoria heard the yelling from the kitchen. She was almost done with the meal, when Celina slammed James' door shut. She placed the food in the oven to bake, and walked over to Celina, "What's going on?" She stopped Celina in the hall, and opened James' door. To see a boy like that, crying the way he was, it made her freeze for just a moment. James didn't even notice the door opened back up. Not that he wouldn't cared at this point. Victoria shook off the uncomfortableness, and walked inside. She grabbed James' hand, and stood him up.
"Pull it together..!" She said. James looked up at her, confused. "You just think I'm a dumb kid, and apparently so does Celina..."
"I never asked your opinion on how Celina and I felt about you, I said fucking pull it together. Your fathers sister is dead, and you can't pull your head out of your own ass for two seconds to see that he may need some support? Or maybe your cousin, the one who just watched his family get killed?" She gripped his shirt, and walked him to the dining room. "Sit down." James frowned, "No." Victoria then glared at him, "You think you're having a bad day right now? Sit. Down." James begrudgingly sat down. As she walked through the house, she kept an eye out for any unwanted guests.
James looked at Victoria, "Why do you care so much? Why are you even here..?" Victoria was silent. "I care that the two of you weren't ready for something you should have been prepared for for decades. I care that you were both blind enough to not see the signs. Our grandmother may have been crazy, but she would have never let this happen. Atleast not if they weren't on her terms.
James was glaring at her, "Our parents didn't raise us to be murderers like you..." Victoria shot another glare at him, "Maybe they should have." She didnt know Liam all that well. She knew he was quiet, and just sat around. Looking back, she herself noticed a few signs, but her objective was to protect him, not Anna or Sorin.

Marcella listened to her husband, it broke her heart to see him so dismantled and torn, it wasn't like his character, though who could blame him after seeing not only his sister dead but his nephew as well. She managed to shed a few tears of her own, hearing her husband cry, it made her feel horrible. When Chris wanted her to hold him, that's exactly what she did, she would hold on tighter if she needed to, anything to comfort her distraught husband. "I love you, Chris." Marcella said to her husband before softly kissing his lips, "We've been through hell and hot water together. I know times are tough right now, but we will get through this." What else could she possibly say to a man who lost both his family members and saw their dead bodies? --- Celina stopped in her tracks when Victoria asked what was going on. She pointed back into her brother's room, "Go ask lover boy what's going on. I tried to explain it to him, but he's too damn stubborn." Celina walked into her room and closed the door behind her. Once the coast was clear, she slid down the door and sat down on the carpet floor. She couldn't bottle up her emotions anymore, as she covered her face and cried. The older twin bawled her eyes out, her reason for crying was simple, not just remorse and grief but from bottled up emotions. Celina isn't the type to tell exactly how she feels, instead, she pushes it under the rug for later. She's always been that way, ever since she was little. She puts up a front as if she was big and bold, but deep down she was still weak and soft, and it completely bothered her. Was she jealous of Victoria? On the outside, no, but on the inside it was a completely different story...

He laid with his wife, holding her. He didn't want to talk or breathe, or do anything.
About twenty minutes later, Victoria walked in their bedroom with two plates. Chris sat up, "Victoria this isn---" His eyes brightened up to food. She set the stuffed shells on the dresser, then looked at the couple, "Eat something." She pointed to the food, and walked out. Chris looked at his wife, "Did she just make us dinner..?"
Victoria then went and made another plate. She took it to Celina's bedroom, and knocked on the door. "Celina, your food is ready...." She saw James trying to go into his room, and Victoria put a finger up. "Make Daniel a plate and give it to him.." She hissed.

Marcella flashed a small smile at Victoria for bringing them their dinner, it was a nice gesture and she truly appreciated it. It was something small, but it was a simple spark of positivity that all of the family needed at this time in their lives. "Thank you Victoria. It looks delicious." Getting up from the bed, Marcella grabbed the two plates and sat them down on the bed. Once she sat down, she patted the end of the bed for Victoria to sit down. "Victoria. Sit." Marcella said to her, "Now, with me being married to your father, and we don't really know each other that well, I think that we started off on the wrong foot." Marcella looked at her husband, then back at Victoria, "Your father can explain better than I can, but for the most part, he wants to try to be in your life as much as possible now. You can't be upset at your father, because he didn't know that you were even born. So, I believe that this is your time to make amends with each other." Getting up from the bed, Marcella walked into the dining room with her plate in hand. She wanted Chris and Victoria to not act like total strangers, if she was going to be a part of this family, it was about time she'd act like it. --- Hearing the knock on her door, Celina ignored it. She wasn't hungry at all. In fact, she lost her appetite. Instead of opening the door, she remained sitting on the floor, not wanting to move an inch...

After Celina didn't want her food, Victoria just set it on the ground. "It's in front of the door if you decide you want it.." She said, before hearing Marcella asking her to sit. Chris looked at Marcella as she spoke, and Victoria was clearly uncomfortable. Marcella said her piece, and then went with her food to the dining room.
Chris looked at Victoria, "I swear I didn-" "I Know." Victoria cut him off. Chris stopped, and sighed, "My--" "Your mother..." Victoria sighed, "I know everything. Grandmother didn't really keep it a secret of who my father was... Or my mother. You don't have anything to apologize for..."
Chris smiled a little, "That still doesn't give us back the years..."
Victoria laughed, "Look... You had a good life. I had a good life. There's nothing to feel bad about. Now those lives meshing well is another story, but..."
"Well, Victo--"
"Marilyn..." She said, looking at him. He looked confused, but then realized... that was his daughter's real name.
"Marilyn.." He said, touching her shoulder. "You are part of this family. No matter what decision you make. But I'd love for you to stay in Japan... Atleast until we get to know you better."
---
James noticed his mother walk into the dining room, as he was kicking his food around with the fork. He looked up at her, "What are we gonna do..?" He asked. "What am I gonna do..?" He looked at the food his long lost older sister prepared for him. She didn't seem like a very touching person, but this was still a nice act of kindness.
"I have to fix this... the best way I can."

Marcella was becoming frustrated with her son, she knew that he wanted to make the situation better but there's nothing that anyone can do right now.
"James." Marcella said sternly as she looked at her only son, "What do you think you can possibly do to make this situation better sweetheart. Nothing in the world can bring your aunt and cousin back."
She took a bite out of her food, before continuing to lecture her child. "Your father and I do NOT want you nor your sister... sisters in this matter, to get involved with anything. Do you understand me? That includes anything with Liam. In fact, don't even bother seeing Liam, I know you probably don't want to hear it, but he could be involved in this in someway."
Marcella understood completely that her son was in pain, but acting outlandish isn't going to solve anything. But, she also knew her son, and that he liked to do things his way, so she was expecting him to rebel against her words.
"James Williams. I mean every word I'm telling you. If even hear you've been around Liam, so help me God you will be in so much trouble."

James tensed in his chair, and he stood up. A few tears streamed down his face, as it reddened with anger. "I don't want to see Liam...." He was furious, mostly with himself. He knew it was true. There was no message to beat into his head. He put two and two together as soon as Lillian barged in their home. He just didn't want to believe it.
"I want to kill him." He then threw his fork on the table.
"No..." He heard a voice say. James turned, to see his elder sister. "What do you mean, no..?" Marilyn crossed her arms, "I mean, That's my job. Your job is to eat the food I made you." She said coldly.
James sat down. "You have no idea what I'm going through."
"I don't care what you're going through, I care that you live to go through anything at all." She walked over to him, and leaned in close. "I will train you myself, but this isn't a teen drama where you go face your evil lover and live to tell about it. You aren't ready. Let me handle it."
"Mom said she didn't want you dealing with it." James said.
Marilyn smiled, for the first time in a while. "Your mom isn't my mom, plus.... I'm a grown adult." Her smile then vanished. "Stay here, I'll deal with it."

Nina shows up after making her way to the house. With her, was a bright-eyed cheery blonde who resembled her mother, Nina.
Nina, looking worn and tired, no thanks to motherhood, and the side-effects of cryosleep, but nonetheless, Nina is still as deadly as ever.
"So, what's this about?" Nina asks.

Still sitting at the table, with her hands clasped together, Marcella sat in silence as she waited for Mari and James to stop their bickering.
It wasn't until Victoria mentioned about stepping in that ultimately caught her attention, sure, she may not be her biological mother but Marcella still meant what she said, if she was her birth mother or not.
"Victoria." Marcella finally broke her silence, "Granted, I may not be your biological mother, but you are Chris' daughter, so that makes you half the blood of James and Celina, whom of which I gave birth too. Although I didn't give birth to you, I consider you my daughter, that and if you haven't noticed, you are under the roof of my house. My house. My rules."
She paused, trying to collect her thoughts, "You are considered family here as well. If I don't want James or Celina to get involved, I definitely do not want you to get blood on your hands either. This concerns your father only. Got it?" Her eyes sternly moved from James to Victoria.
"You are not to get involved with this, if anything happened to either of you, I wouldn't know what to do." Her attention referred over to her daughter's closed bedroom door, "But what you guys can do, is check on your sister, it's not like her to be trapped in her room like this."

"Marcella..." She pulled Marcella aside, into the hallway away from prying eyes and ears. "Apparently that boy is glass because he shatters every five seconds..." She crossed her arms. "Chris asked me to kill Liam. And before ask why, it's because out of everyone in this family, I'm the only one who has no emotional ties to the situation. Plus, he wants James in his life." She sighed, "I've been an assassin since I was fifteen years old. If I receive a contract, I follow through with the contract."
James rolled his eyes, and walked to Celina's door. He knocked twice, "Celina, Mom wants you..."
Meanwhile, after hearing a knock, Chris answered the door... It was Nina... He smiled a little, "Come inside, Nina..." He sat her down, and waved hello to Diana, and returned his attention to Nina. He bit his lip, and looked over at the picture of Anna on the fireplace.
His heart was pounding, he had no idea what to say or do. So He simply said it.
"Anna's dead."

Victoria pulled Marcella aside so there would be no listening ears upon their conversation. What she told her actually made sense once you think about it. Marcella knew that Chris would ask someone to do the dirty work for him this time because he has too many emotional ties to the situation at hand. Letting go of her pride, Marcella sighed to herself, "If this is what you and your father agreed on, then this situation is between you two. My hands have been wiped clean of this." --- Celina didn't answer the door to her room. Instead, she was laying on the bed, sideways facing her window. She didn't feel like moving, she was in a dark place, with no way to get out..

Nina took a seat with her daughter, as Chris escorted them. Nina crossed her legs as she sighed quietly to herself. This had better be good.
"Anna's dead."
"What? Come again?" Nina was in shock. "Anna's dead? Already? That didn't take her long at all."
"Auntie died?"
"Who killed her?" Nina wanted answers.

Chris frowned, "Do you remember The Crawfords..? From our mother's syndicate..?" He bit his lip, figuring out how to word it. "Their son, Liam... Judging from the scene, he killed Sorin first... And then.." He winced, and buried his head on his hands. "Lillian attacked me tonight aswell. I believe Eliot is coming after you..." He shook his head, "They want us to pay for killing our mother..."
He looked at Diana, and then back to Nina. "I killed Lillian, but Liam is still out there. We should probably figure out what to do with the kids until this is resolved." He bit his lip. "They are releasing her body to us net week."
---
Mari nodded, "You're trying to show you care, and include me in the family. But, it's fine... I can take care of myself." The blonde gave Marcella a barely there smile, and then walked back to the dining to eat her food, and then carry out her mission.
James continued to knock on Celina's door. "Celina, cmon..." He opened the door. "Celina..?" He was frowning. He walked to her bed, and sat down net to her. "Come eat something, please... Mom is worried about you..." He looked to the door. He heard another woman's voice. That must have been Nina, their other Aunt.
"I think our Aunt Nina is here..."
