"I didn't even know your name until now, so what make you think I even know what's going on or what you're planning on doing and why would I risk my life getting into someone's personal (and obviously dangerous) life???" Jack ask Helena in a serious tone. Even though Helena's reasoning is somewhat understandable in someways but at the same time it felt a bit unjustified and lacking logic.
"I'm just came out here just to chill."

Helena listened to the boy once more and sighed. He doesn't even know her name. He's right. Maybe she does need to chill. Helena thought about the safety of her son. Lei's an alright person in her book. And he's skilled in many forms of Martial Arts, and he's great at free-running, and he has an excellent aim. If Heihachi's men were to storm her apartment, she's certain that Lei has the skill to defend her son.
"I suppose you are right." She sighed, feeling a bit embarrassed that this little boy maintained a cooler head than she did.
"I'm just came out here just to chill."
"And you know what! I think I might take you up on your offer. After all, it is not very common that I get to have a night to myself."

Jack was relieved that he didn't have fight anyone today, especially if that fight were to end with him getting killed and his corpse being dealt with methods only god would know.
"Yo that's good to know we're at an understanding, now let's go have ourselves some drinks." Jack said to the both as walks back to the bar and opened the door for Helena and K.

Helena shrugged as she followed Jack inside.
"I'm gonna go check up on your son."
"No need to. He should be fine."
"Okay, we'll I'll be seeing you later." Junichi said to Helena.
Helena waved bye as Junichi left the parking lot. Helena then carried the brief case inside with her. Where else was she going to put it? She didn't feel like walking out to her car, so she just kept it with her. Hopefully, no mob boss or anyone would think it is drugs.
She takes a seat, sighing to herself. "It is not very often that I get to go out to the bar and enjoy my time like this."

"Clearly, someone deserves the chance to relax." Jack said to Helena as he walked inside the bar with her. "Oh, welcome back you two, what can I get ya?"
"Yo, as for drinks...." Jack himself wasn't sure if he should change it up and try something stronger or just settle with the beer he had earlier. But he then decided to try out any drink that the woman she offered chooses. "How about you? Do you Have something in mind?" He asked Helena as they both sat at the booths.

Helena knew she couldn't quite get shitfaced today. She had to go interrogate Daniel first thing tomorrow morning. Maybe then she can find Katya and figure out some more secrets behind her husband and his experiments. So, she had to choose her drinks wisely. However, she could still enjoy a few good drinks.
"I think I will have the classic Fruit Mojito, please."

"I'll have the same too." Jack said to the bartender as he nodded and began making their drinks. Around that moment, Jack figured that he could make a conversation with the older woman. "So, is this your first time being in this bar?" He asked out of curiosity.

"Actually, I come here all the time." Helena said. "Work itself is stressful, so I often come here to blow off some steam, have a little fun, all that stuff." She sighed to herself quietly.

"Seem like your job is a handful." As Jack replied to Helena's statement, The bartender returned to them with their mojitos. "Here you two go, Enjoy." The bartender said as he placed the drinks on the table.
"Thank you." Jack said before grabbing his drink.

"It is. Very much so. My boss came to me the other day and threatened to fire me, when I told him I was onto something."
Which was true. Helena's boss was going to silence her for her failure to do the job, but she had to convince him that if he wanted a chance to find his target, he was going to have to wait. Truth be told, Helena isn't sure what to do once she betrays Lei. It's also very likely that Sorin is going to find out, too. She wasn't sure how was Sorin going to react either. The feelings she had for both Sorin and Lei were very real. Sorin was like an adorable, lovable gay bestie to her. Then there's Lei.
Helena didn't know how to describe it. He's kind, warm, and very intelligent, despite his disposition. Helena liked to tell herself that Lei's just an ally. Just a partner. It was strictly business, but she knows. That's a lie.
After the bartender handed them their drinks, Helena was immediately reminded of when she first met her husband. She was at a bar in the Mishima Zaibatsu right after a successful mission, when a scientist decided to ask her out. Like Lei, he was so charming, and had an amazing smile. Memories of her husband's battered corpse popped up in her head. This made her want to drink more, as she chugged down the rest of her drink in one long sip.
This is why she drinks herself to a stupor. To forget the memories. To help her forget her problems, and help her cope with everything wrong with her life.
Helena downs the drink, slamming it on the ground. "Refill!" She shouts. Helena was laughing almost maniacally. She had a nice buzz going, and now, she's totally forgotten about her miserable life. Tomorrow was a big day, so why not enjoy it right now?

"Now we're talking!" Jacked cheered as he drinks his mojito, it was surprisingly good. He can definitely add that to his list of good alcohol. That's when he came up with a idea. "Say, how about we do a little drinking contest?" He suggested before finishing his drink and orders a refill.

Helena smiled. "Ohohohoh! I am going to win! You cannot outdrink a soldier!" She downs her drink before finally getting her drink refilled as she had gotten another swig of her drink. "I never back down from a challenge!"
Helena returned home after a night of drinking, and having fun, and enjoying Jack's company. It wasn't too bad, but she still couldn't shake the idea that he heard her. Maybe these meetings at Hinotori bar weren't really great ideas. It is a public place after all. Plus, she was starting to sober up, so she had to return home. She still couldn't believe that she drunk texted Lei. But she's sure he knows she's drunk and will think nothing of it.
Helena makes her way into her house, and just as she was about to turn on the lights, she saw a figure on her couch. Soon as her eyes adjusted to the dark, she took notice of Lei on the loveseat, asleep upright, with his feet up on the recliner. She then saw Li-Mei, asleep in her dad's lap, with a blanket over her. She did not expect them to spend the night like this. What was going on?
"Hey, Lei! Lei! Leeeeei!" She shouted in a very loud whisper.
Lei groaned as he shook his head. He slowly opened his eyes and sighed. "What is it?" He rubbed his eyes for a little bit and blinked several times before speaking once more. "What time is it?"
Helena got down on her knees, so that she would be level with Lei. "Listen, it's 3AM. You should probably get going. I appreciate you staying, but you do not need to stay here this late."
"Well, I can't on good conscience leave a minor here by himself alone."
"He is going to be asleep. He should be fine. You could have left as soon as he went to sleep."
"What if he had a nightmare, and wanted to see his mommy? She's not there, and so he freaks out and runs away. I stayed behind because your son shouldn't be left alone."
Helena sighed. "But he can take care of himself."
"Yes, but you don't get it. I'm not saying you're a bad mother, Helena. It's just that... I just do not justify the idea of going out to party at the bar while your son is asleep, home alone in bed. It doesn't look good on your record. I'll be honest, I understand, you're a single mom. You're stuck raising your kid on your own. And I know, you're looking to find a man to help you raise your son. Believe me, I know how hard it is. I'm a single parent, too. I know how hard it is. I feel like its best if you don't try to date. That's just my experience... I've been pretty single for some time now. Yeah, it is frightening, but you get used to it. After all, Li-Mei and Xianlong have done a great job keeping me company." He smiles. "I look forward to coming home to see those two."
Helena listened to what Lei was telling her. She took in all the information, before finally asking him with a follow-up question, "How long have you been single?"
"I kind of lost count. I think maybe a year or two... I don't know. There was this gorgeous lady I dated for a bit, but we had to split because I was prioritizing my daughter's needs over her own, so at that point I was like, eh. Maybe I should stay single, considering that tends to be my number one problem. I don't satisfy a woman's needs." He sighed at the thought. Pai was an excellent example of this. He was with that woman for eight and a half years, and proposed to her, even. But he finds out that she has been banging his partner on the side, while he was away... made Lei realize something.
If he were to eventually find a woman to love, he has to give her all the attention he possibly can. Thanks to his new job, he has more time, but Li-Mei's almost four. She's not quite independent, yet. Maybe he'll jump back into dating when she's around Micah's age.
"I see. My husband died six years ago! He was the primary caretaker. Now he is gone. Do you understand how hard it is! To raise my son, while his caretaker was gone, out of his life?"
Lei could imagine what a big impact it is. He tried to imagine, what if Pai had been killed, and they sent Lei his child, with no questions asked. Those months where Li-Mei gets to see her mother wouldn't happen. He has his child 24-7. Unlike Xianlong, though, Li-Mei is a toddler, and she can't take care of herself. She's potty-trained and can walk and run and talk. But she can't prepare meals or wash dishes, or do laundry. She's just a small child.
"I know it is hard. And I understand your frustration. And now I know why you always look like a tiger trapped in a cage." He closed his eyes for a second. "It's because when your husband died, you didn't know what to do. You didn't know how to be a mother. Or a real parent. Now, you're just dumping random responsibilities on your son, and on top of it, you are basically the only person making the income. Your son is fragile, so you don't bother with sending him to the daycare. You're afraid of loss. You're afraid that you'll lose your son, too. Hence, why I say you are like the tiger, trapped in a cage. The tiger, like you, is a very fierce and vicious animal. But, while the tiger is trapped in the cage, it cannot relax. So it attacks and claws and tries to get out. You are not relaxed. You are clawing, trying to get out of this cage, that you have trapped yourself in."
Helena should have expected this much from Lei. He was a former detective. Of course he's a bit of a psychologist, too. After all, aren't detectives supposed to be psychologists? That's what separates them from police officers. What he said hit close to home. But he doesn't know how her husband died. See if he can figure that out.
"Helena, as a friend. Please... just calm down. Okay. Relax... enjoy life... it's too short for you to feel sad and hurt all the time... Okay?"
"Okay." She sighed a little.
"Look, just do yourself a favor. Go to bed and sleep. I'll handle everything. You need time to yourself. I've got everything, okay? Sleep as long as you want. I can handle everything. Okay?" He pats her shoulder.
Helena nodded. "Okay, fine. I shall go to bed, then."
"Goodnight. Sleep tight."
Helena then made her way to her bedroom, still carying the brief case. She's not sure if she's ready for Lei to read the information. He might catch wind, and discover her darkest secret: she killed her husband.
Helena changed to her sleeping clothes and hopped into bed. She really had to capture Carmina. She needed the money. But she was afraid of what would Lei do if he found out she was planning on betraying him. She was getting comfortable. She can't let herself get comfortable! She needs to stay focused on the mission!
Out of frustration, Helena hurriedly puts on her bathrobe and steps outside the balcony from her bedroom and grabs her cigarette and starts smoking. She coughed several times, but it didn't matter. The sooner, the better. She really wasn't sure where to go from here.
The very next morning, Helena woke up and saw Lei was in the kitchen, handing out plates, dressed up in her apron, that was obviously too tight on Lei. Li-Mei was in a high-chair, and Micah was enjoying his meal, as Junichi ate some food as well. Helena gripped the side of her head in pain. She was hungover. The Cypriot took a seat on the couch, still in agony.
"Hey, Mr. Kuwabara, Helena and I need to have a private discussion, okay?"
Junichi nodded.
Lei prepared Helena a glass of water as he walked her to her bed. Helena drinks it, and sighs once more, hitting her head on the pillow.
"So, I think I know where SN-95 is headed..."
"Where?"
"Your buddy filled me in on some details. So apparently, her mother was involved with her creation. And guess what?" Lei held up a pair of plane tickets. "She's currently residing in Warsaw, Poland."
Helena let out a barely audible sound of acknowledgement.
"She's a college professor at the Medical University of Warsaw. I believe that SN-95 went to look for her mother. Knowing that Anna has access to private jets, it is very likely that Daniel took the girl with him to Poland."
"What if they aren't there?"
"Well, we can still talk to Dr. Kristovitch. She can still help us with our cause. Not all is lost."
After several moments of silence, Helena finally spoke up. "Sure. We can go to Poland. It has been awhile since I went on vacation with another man..."
Lei blushed slightly at Helena's comment. "Same for me, too... Also, your buddy is going to take care of the kids while we're away, so we should be good to go... and in the meantime..." Lei makes his way to the door. "Rest, relax, and sober up. Let me know if you need anything else."
Helena groans once more. She really needed to be careful with her drinking.
