Celina was in her room, packing her clothes and belongings for the long trip to Dublin. She's never been there before and she knew that it was a part of her father's history so it would be nice to see where he came from.
To her, the trip was long overdue.
Zipping up her bag, Celina walked out her room and rolled her luggage into the doorway of her home.
Finding a chair to sit, Celina waited until everyone else was ready.
Marcella finished up the last part of her packing and prepared to take her stuff in the living room. As she walked past, she noticed her daughter's room and opened the door.
Once in her room, Marcella looked in her daughter's closet to see that her prom dress wasn't packed up.
Marcella knew how important this prom meant to her Josie, all of her friends would be there waiting for her and because of this family emergency, her plans of attending would be shattered.
Unzipping the luggage, Marcella placed Celina's prom dress in her luggage in an effort to make her daughter feel better. She zipped the luggage back and taking it with her to her room.
She walked over to her husband, and wrapped her arms around his waistline, her hazel eyes looking at his. It was a particular glare that she gave Chris whenever she needed something from him.
"Chris. Honey, I need you to do me a favor." She thought about her word choice, "Well. It's not for me, it's for Josie. I took the liberty of bringing her prom dress with us to Dublin. I figured, with all this chaos going on around her if she can't go to the prom, we'll bring the prom to her."
Marcella grabbed her husband's hand gently caressing it, "And what better way to get her mind off of things than a prom in Dublin with her Dad? After all the smoke clears. I think she really needs it babe."
