"Then she dies..." That was all Nina could say. "That's how life works. People live. People die."
After many hours of waiting for results, finally the doctor came in, telling them that Anna was okay. Though she's a bit more tired than usual.
"Have you been experiencing any symptoms similar this, Miss. Williams?"
"No. Nothing."

"Hmm... We will continue our efforts to find the source of these symptoms... To put it simply, she's not waking up. She's asleep. I wanted to ask if you had any symptoms, because I suspect it may have something to do with the cryosleep experiments done on the both of you. I looked at her medical files, and she's been having these episodes for a few years..." The doctor said. Chris frowned. "What does that mean...? Is she going to be okay..?" He couldn't imagine his sister being like this.
"It means, until we can determine that that's the cause of her symptoms, we have to explore other options. I'll have someone contact Dr. Bosconovitch as soon as we can."
"Thankyou, doctor." He said, looking at Nina. "Great... You forgot who we were, and she gets to sleep for the rest of her damn life..." He said, angry.

"A few years, huh? No wonder she's been so weak every time we fight. Looks like I had the unfair advantage all along."
"It means, until we can determine that that's the cause of her symptoms, we have to explore other options. I'll have someone contact Dr. Bosconovitch as soon as we can."
"Good. He better come up with something."
"Great... You forgot who we were, and she gets to sleep for the rest of her damn life..."
Nina placed a hand on her forehead, sighing to herself. "The whole thing was against my will. It was her fault, you know? She's the one who got us into this mess. Too busy trying to one-up me... I didn't ask for this."

Chris scoffed, "Oh yes, Nina. Because you didn't encourage her childish behavior in any way, shape, or form..." He said, spitefully. He knew deep down it wasn't really Nina's fault. Anna could have let it go a long time ago. He sighed, "I'm sorry.. I just.." He closed his eyes.
He really just wanted Marcella to be by his side. Where was she?
He sat up, and nodded at the doctor as he awkwardly walked away from the bickering siblings.
"I hope they can figure it out...." He said. "Hey, can you find Sorin and let him know what's going on, so he isn't blindsided?" He asked her.

"Oh yes, Nina. Because you didn't encourage her childish behavior in any way, shape, or form..."
Nina rolled her eyes as she crossed her arms in annoyance. "Of course, little James, always siding with Anna... as usual."
"I'm sorry.. I just.. I hope they can figure it out...."
"I'm sure they will."
"Hey, can you find Sorin and let him know what's going on, so he isn't blindsided?"
"Yeah, sure... I'll go find him alright." It sounded more like a suggestion, rather than acknowledgement that she was going to go find Sorin. Which she ended up doing. She walked out of the room, and wandered down the halls, looking for Sorin, when she encountered the young man with an older gentleman.
"Didn't think you'd be into older guys."

Sorin made his way back to the main building, where Nina had found him. Antonio was walking away, sort of looking at Sorin as he did.
His aunt then made some remark about older men, and sorin huffed, "I'm not."
He crossed his arms. "I never took you for the auntnephew bonding type...." He said back at her.
"Is everything okay?" He asked. He never took Nina as one to come to anyone unless it was for a good reason.

Nina was slightly impressed that Sorin had some good deductive skills. There had to be more to this kid, than what he lead on.
"Your mother may be experiencing complications from cryosleep."
Nina got to the point. She felt that there was really no reason to sugar-coat this. After all, it would just be wasting time.

Now Sorin was worried. "Complications..!?" He tensed up, crossing his arms. "What kind of complications..?" His eyebrows raised, "Did she get amnesia..? I swear this family gets more and more like a soap every day..." He huffed, and walked past his killer aunt. Rushing through the halls of the hospital, he asked doctors repeatedly for where his birth mother was, and nobody would tell him.
"Why won't these idiots tell me ANYTHING!?" He screamed, the soldiers came to him, trying to console their fellow man. Sorin shoved them off, storming into Chris' room.
"Hey..." Chris said. Sorin held his hand up, "What complications is she having!?" He was extremely worried. Chris sat up, and stood. "She's asleep..." Sorin looked at him confused "Asleep..?"
Chris shook his head, "And she won't wake up..." Sorin staggered back a bit, "..What..?" He shook his head, and sat down. "But..." He huffed. His eyes were watering. "But I just found her.." He frowned. Chris placed a hand on his nephew's shoulder. "She'll be fine. Trust me. Anna's stubborn as a mule."
Sorin looked up a him, and smiled. Chris looked up, "Where is Nina..?"
"Oh..!" Sorin replied, "I may have ditched her in the lobby.."

Just as Nina was going to open her mouth to speak, Sorin had already bolted off. She sighed and followed him into Chris's room.
"As I was saying. She's going to be in a bit of a coma for now."[/b]

Sorin pursed his lips at her. "Thanks.." He said. He stood up looking at Chris. "Nina, can we talk..?" He asked her, before leaving Chris in the room. "Look..." He crossed his arms. "I know your emotional capacity is pretty limited, and I know you care for very few people, but..." He looked down. "It's obvious you care about her to some degree... Despite... well everything."
"To get to the point, I wanted to say thanks for finding me, and telling me." He smiled a little at her, expecting some 'whatever' response.
"I'm gonna go to her apartment, and get her some clothes, and her makeup bag... I'm sure she'll want it. Look after her for me?" He then rushed off.
Chris came up behind Nina, smiling. "See... He can see you love sweet Anna too...!" He smirked at Nina.

Nina followed Sorin as he had requested and stood outside with him. As he spoke, Nina simply nodded. But of course, when it came to the subject to her sister, she simply shook her head.
"I think you're getting the wrong idea, here kid. I was only doing this because you're her son. You need to know these things."
But even Nina knew, she was lying to herself. She could not finish her statement. And when Sorin thanked her and announced that he was going to get Anna's things.
"She would like that, wouldn't she?"
After Sorin left, Chris had announced once more that Nina cared about Anna. Rather than to deny it. She simply said, "I suppose I do."

"Hey, so remember when we were kids, and we would eat pudding together..?" He asked his sister. "Well, I'm feeling better, and we need something sweet. Especially to celebrate this momentous occasion.." He smirked at Nina. He missed the time when she was a bit more... human. She may have teased him and Anna, but that's what elder siblings did. Maybe this would help his eldest sister get some of her humanity back.
He walked her to the cafeteria. "I guess we should tell whomever is bringing the inheritance that Anna is incapacitated.." He started. "Or should we keep that under wraps..?" He asked her.
"I feel like this is something that Anna wouldn't want getting out to the public."

Nina tried to recall that event. She focused as much as she could, but there wasn't much in her head. Yes, her amnesia was cured... but some things... especially her childhood was still a blur.
"Well, I'm feeling better, and we need something sweet. Especially to celebrate this momentous occasion.."
"Pudding sounds nice."
After following Chris to the cafeteria, she remembered Lillian Crawford. But that woman can wait. It should be fine.
"I guess we should tell whomever is bringing the inheritance that Anna is incapacitated...Or should we keep that under wraps..?"
"We can always say she's out at the club. She's not going to notice the difference."

Chris looked at Nina in confusion. "Alright..." He laughed. He saw the cafeteria, and his eyes lit up. He went to the line, and handed Nina a bowl. "So many options... Should I get a taco..? Or should I get the pizza..?" He peered over, looking at the food. His stomach was starting to rumble a bit more.
He laughed, "I remember when dad tried to cook, he burnt the oven. Mom was so pissed." He giggled. "Ooh, but that burger looks so good!" He sighed, "I wish I could get beer.. stupid hospital.." He grumbled.
"This whole daughter thing.." He said, as he started picking food up. "It's shocking... Mom must have been more demented than I thought.." He could only think of what Marcella would say to that. "And I'm gonna be a dad..!" He then looked at Nina, "Err.. Again! Marcella's pregnant, and.." He set the tray down, and hugged Nina tight.
"I'm so happy..!"

"I would say get a pizza. You can never go wrong there."
Chris once more mentioned something of her past that Nina could barely remember. "Those days were nice." She honestly didn't know what to say, but decided to just go with it. She'll remember eventually.
"This whole daughter thing... It's shocking... Mom must have been more demented than I thought.."
"Knowing how demented she is, it is still surprising that she didn't kill father." Nina muttered. "It doesn't make much sense to me."
"And I'm gonna be a dad..!"
Nina stopped for a second. "Excuse me?"
Chris hugged her as Nina did not hug him back. She just stood there, uncomfortable in his embrace. What is this mess? Finally, once he let go, Nina finally had something to say.
"I know you're happy, but I have a feeling... now is not the time to celebrate." She frowned. "I just know, it's not over yet."
