There were a ton of people exiting the airport when Anna pulled up. She parked her car, and cut the engine, flipping down the mirror to check her appearance. She swiped a little red lipstick on and brushed through her black hair before exiting the car. Anna sauntered through the parking lot wearing a tight, short, black leather dress, and black stilettos to match. On her right wrist was a golden cuff, and in her hand was a clutch. Her heart sped up the closer she got to the entrance. She looked around the scene, spotting a blonde older woman and a tall man coming her way.
"Anna..." The man said, in a very Irish accent.
Anna smiled, "How are you, Jay?" The man was her little brother, Christopher. She quickly noted that he didn't seem too pleased to see her. The woman walked up and hugged her. "Hello, mother." The blonde was Anna's mother, Johanna Williams.
"Hello, dear." She looked over at Chris, "Oh, don't mind your brother, he's just tired from the flight..."
Anna noticed neither of them had luggage... "Where is your stuff?" She asked. Johanna smiled, "It's being delivered." Anna raised an eyebrow, "Alright... Well, shall we?"
"We shall... Just you and I though, Christopher has some business to attend to." Johanna turned to Chris, "Isn't that right, son..?" Johanna smiled coldly, and raised her eyebrows at him. "Yes, mother..."
Anna looked at the two of them, and then turned to Chris. "Well, when you're done, I'd like to talk--" "We'll talk when I'm ready to..." He interrupted. Anna huffed, "Fine..! Let's go, mother."
Chris left the women, and Johanna got close to Anna. "You know, dear, you should be nicer to your brother... He's the one that's been keeping me company all these years while you and your sister were doing god only knows what..." Anna rolled her eyes. "It's complicated." Johanna chucked at her daughter, "You're damn right it's complicated, and you're going to explain it to me as soon as we get to your home..." Anna glared at her mother, and grabbed her arm, "Let's go." The two started toward the car. Johanna pulled her arm away from Anna, "I'm not as young as you, You can't act like a child playing with her mommy, anymore."
Anna stopped her mother, "You and I both know you aren't as weak as you make yourself out to be. You taught me that tactic, remember?" She said with a raised eyebrow. Johanna laughed, "It's not a tactic, anymore..." Johanna got in the car, and Anna stomped on the ground. "Tsk..."
