NAME: Jonathan “Jon Jon” Wu

BIOGRAPHY: Jonathan was a kid who gained anything he could ever want, only to lose it nearly immediately. His family was wealthy for being in Puerto Rico, and he himself was very popular and liked among his childhood friends. His family owned a diamond jewelry manufacturing company, their income being exponentially high due to the amount of businesses that invested in their jewelry. Though, soon a scandal was made of Jonathan’s father, claiming that Jonathan himself wasn’t actually his son, but instead a man who was from China. Jonathan’s family was eventually put into a custodial lawsuit that they ended up losing. Though they weren’t forced to hand anything over monetarily, they did have to give Johnathan to the Chinese man who claimed to be his father. The evidence and DNA was compelling enough especially with the fact the Jonathan and the man shared the same disorder in their right eye requiring the both of them to wear a medical eyepatch. This however did hurt the sales and income of the Puerto Rican family, they themselves eventually going bankrupt, but however being funded once more by the Mishima Zaibatsu during the events of the 6th tournament. Jonathan then ran away just a few weeks after he began living with the man, not trusting him or liking him one bit. He was lost, homeless, alone, and scared for at least a month on the streets of Hong Kong. Though Jirai Nage really doesn’t like the city all too much, he visited this time just to see the appeal of it, and still didn’t quite understand it.Though he found himself eventually in a slum-like area, seeing homeless youths and elderly all around, not sure whether to leave the area or stay out of curiosity. He saw a dark haired pre-teen being seemingly beaten into submission by a group of thugs. There was a medical eyepatch that was also strewn onto the ground, belonging to the kid. This is how Jonathan met Jirai. At the Academy of the Vermillion Bird, Jonathan experienced almost a whole new upbringing, making new friends and becoming more involved with others than before. As he learned Bajiquan, he also learned who he himself was. Polli and Eleanor proved to be his guiding lights in life, as he became the closest to them and they helped him feel like he belonged in this new family of his.
