Personality: With the given 3 years, Xiaoyu's personality changed slightly. She is more wiser and has grown in maturity. Nonetheless, she is still sort of childish and acts like a child when she doesn't get her way, but mentally checks herself when situations like this arise. She is loving, and down to earth with a general concern for virtually everyone.
Appearance: Along with Xiao's growth and maturity, her appearance has changed drastically as well. She no longer wears the signature pigtails instead they are replaced with her long brown hair flowing to her middle back. Her wardrobe attire has changed as well, being equipped with clothing more suited for her age group.
Background:Born in Hong Kong, China; Ling Xiaoyu was a polite and exuberant child growing up, she was full of excitement and joy everyone loved to be around her. She was raised by her grandfather Wang Jinrei for the majority of her life until they both decided to take a risk and move to Japan.
From there she attended Mishima High School where she first laid eyes on the mysterious Jin Kazama, she instantly felt an eerie vibe from him but for some unbeknownst reason to her, it's what attracted her to him.
Ultimately their bond became closer, and she looked up to Jin as if he was a brother to her, to act as a barrier to keep her real feelings for him under her guard.
After the 3rd King of Iron Fist Tournament, Jin vanished leaving Xiao heartbroken and afraid of what may have happened to him. Anonymously, she received a letter from a mysterious person, her intuition told her that it may have been Jin and entered in the 4th King of Iron Fist Tournament.
It was during the fourth, fifth and sixth King of Iron First Tournaments that Xiao and Jin, their friendship began to blossom and that they discovered something more than a friendship, even with all of the war that occurred around them.
Xiao was in love with the devil..
During the events of the King of Iron Fist Six, things between Jin and Xiao went silent and it wasn't until 3 years after the events, where they begun to have their affair secretly.
Though, it wasn't enough to make Jin stay and ultimately he left Xiao yet again and this time it seemed as though he wasn't coming back this time around.
Now, Xiao resides in Yakushima, Japan nestled in the deep forest, where she trains and hopes to see Jin again in the next Tournament...
