Tokyo Hospital

[Anna Leigh Williams]

Elysium was admitted soon after being poisoned by her attacker at the safehouse. Her father was already at the hospital with Lillian when he was notified that she was there. The father was naturally worried about his daughter, but was continuously reassured by the doctors that she would survive, and in time, be back to one hundred percent health. 

Between Lillian, and now Elysium, Chris was ready to find this girl, and put an end to her. But how could he? His daughter was stronger, and younger than he. This girl was clearly a formidable foe. 

Chris was alerted that Elysium was now awake after a few hours. He went into her room. "Ely..." He said, smiling. She turned, "Ugh... Don't look at me..." She said, laughing a little. 

She was sporting a softball sized bruise on the right side of her face. Her eyes were puffy, and her lips were swollen. She had on a robe over her hospital gown. Her legs were covered with a blanket, but there were tubes coming out from underneath, presumably to drain the swelling in her afflicted leg. Chris sat down on the chair next to the bed. "Gina said the girl looked rough when she ran away..." He said, smiling a little. 

Elysium chuckled. "I would have killed her if she didn't run away like a coward...." She said. Chris took a deep breathe. "Just... don't get into a fight to the death again.... Please."

She placed her hand on his. "I'll try..." She said. She was in good spirits. Despite being in the hospital, she knew she injured the attacker enough to force them to lay low for a while. The family could rest for a little while. 

"How is Aunt Lilli?" She asked. Chris frowned. "Not as good as you..." Was all he could say.

Zakk had gotten back from the safehouse after talking with Gina and several witnesses of the scene.  So far it yielded no results.  None of the Chinese women matched Chris's description when Zakk interviewed them all.  And now, this happens.  And still no name.

Of course she won't give out her name!

However, they were lucky enough to get her DNA sample that was left at the crime scene, and the attacker left the scene bloodied and injured.  Zakk was going to have them find the killer, but in the meantime he had to go pay the Williams a visit again.  Zakk knocked at the door to Elysium's room before entering, ready to share his findings with the family.

Elysium turned to the door, when Zakk entered. "Will you help me sit up, daddy...?" She asked, and he nodded. "Of course..." He helped her up, and she sat back as the bed was shifting to allow her to stay sitting up. Chris then looked at Zakk, "I wished I wouldn't have to see you under these circumstances..." He said to him.

Elysium was sitting quietly, giving him a small smile. She was in a tremendous amount of pain, but she hid it well.

"Hello, you are the officer investigating my grandmother's murder and Aunt Lillian's attack, yes..?" She asked. Chris raised a brow, "And Anna's disappearance..." He mentioned.

Elysium nodded, "Of course... Have you found the woman yet..?" She asked.

"I wished I wouldn't have to see you under these circumstances..."

Zakk nodded.  "I wish the same." 

Once Elysium was well-seated, Zakk found a chair to take a seat in, leaning over as he placed both hands under his chin.

"Hello, you are the officer investigating my grandmother's murder and Aunt Lillian's attack, yes..?  And Anna's disappearance..."

"Well, I've got a few good news.  Of course the obvious, the antidote works.  And you were right.  That was a rattlesnake venom.  And more good news.  The attacker left behind her DNA, so it is only a matter of time before her identity is finally revealed.  Interpol is using its massive database to search every criminal in the world, so it's gonna take a while.  And the final good news: Anna might be very much alive."

Zakk paused to clear his throat.

"We found prints belonging to a bottle of blonde hair dye in an abandoned warehouse, where Anna's stolen vehicle was recovered.  I think her attacker tried to kill Anna but failed, and I think Anna might be hiding from her attacker.  Who I'm still 100% sure is not related to this incident.  We're still looking into it."

Chris raised his brows, "...Blonde hairdye..." He said under his breathe.  "Typical stunt..." He thought to himself, knowing exactly what his sister has done. Elysium looked at her father, "What..?" She asked him. He looked at her, "Nothing.." He decided to stay quiet about his hunch. If Anna did fake her death, she had her reasons. Elysium pursed her lips. 

She turned to Zakk. "Well, I assume you've come to get the details of our battle..." She said. She took a deep breathe. "She came to me posing as a refugee... When she revealed her true intention, I knew she was the woman who killed my grandmother, and tried to kill my Aunt." She explained. "She took responsibility for killing Aunt Anna... She gloated about killing my grandmother, and told me how weak Aunt Lillian was..." She clenched her jaw, angry at the recollection. 

"She said that Aunt Nina killed her father, and Grandmother killed her Great Uncle. You said she was Chinese, yes...?" She asked her father. Chris nodded, "She looked it." He said. "Nina never really talked much about her work, neither did my mother." He said. "She looked to be in her twenties... Around twenty years ago.... Nina took a job, and left. Although..." He paused. 

Elysium tilted her head. "What..?"

"Anna gloated about messing up a job Nina was doing, this was when Anna was part of the Tekken Force... Could be related..." He said. Elysium raised a brow, "It sounds like we need to find her. She may very well know who this person is, if your hunch is right." She said. Chris nodded, "Excuse me..." He said, walking out to the hall. 

Elysium turned to Zakk. "Weird..." She sighed, "I do know this... The girl won't be attacking anyone anytime soon... She was just as injured as me..." She said, giving a proud smile.

Zakk watched and listened as if Chris knew something.  He decided to to ask the man anything, as he couldn't blame Anna for hiding.  Especially if this crazy venomous bond-type-villain was on the lose.

"Well, I assume you've come to get the details of our battle..."

Zakk nodded.

"She came to me posing as a refugee... When she revealed her true intention, I knew she was the woman who killed my grandmother, and tried to kill my Aunt.  She took responsibility for killing Aunt Anna... She gloated about killing my grandmother, and told me how weak Aunt Lillian was... She said that Aunt Nina killed her father, and Grandmother killed her Great Uncle. You said she was Chinese, yes...?"

Zakk just sat quietly as he listened to the family explain their attacker.  There were several key-words.  Chinese.  Young.  In her 20's.  It came up again and again.  And now he knows, her motive is because the Williams themselves killed her family.  

"I'll try and find records of Chinese people who were dead from your relatives."  Zakk stated.  "That will give me a clue if we can't find her in the criminal database.  It shouldn't be too hard."

"I do know this... The girl won't be attacking anyone anytime soon... She was just as injured as me..."

Zakk smiled as he chuckled to himself.  "Good work.  Plus, I do predict that her next target will either be your father, or your cousin, Sorin."

He then cleared his throat to reveal more information.  "Well, my father said that he faced a woman similar to your attacker.  Her name was Lana Lei, and she died ten years ago after drowning herself while evading arrest.  We think this girl is her protege of sorts..."

Chris made a call while he was in the hall. He waited after the call, about fifteen minute passed, before his nephew Sorin sauntered in the hospital. "Oh my god, is she okay!?" He asked, genuinely worried. "Is she dead? Oh my god, she's dead!" He put his hands on his head. Chris shook his head, "Elysium is fine, just battered and bruised." Sorin tilted his head, "Oh... Well.... Then what's going on that you had to interrupt my morning ritual for..?" He asked. 

Chris rolled his eyes, "You are just like Anna, you know that...?"

Sorin smiled, "As I've been told..." He then sighed, "I hope we find her soon.." He said, frowning a little, hoping Chris was buying the lie. 

He wasn't.

Chris got close to Sorin, "I'm not going to ask you where my sister is... I'm not even gonna ask you if she's alive..." He sighed, "But, hypothetically.." He started. Sorin was playing dumb, as he usually did. He didn't like it when people knew that he was aware of what was happening. "Is she is alive... Tell her we need her..." He said. 

Sorin narrowed his eyes, "Well... I don't know where she is, so... I guess you'll just have to tell her yourself..." He got even closer to Chris, standing over him. "When we find her..." Sorin then smiled. "Thankyou." Chris laughed a little. "Calm down..." He opened the door, "Elysium, honey you have a visitor..."

Elysium nodded, "That with the DNA sample should most definitely prove who this girl is." She looked at Zakk, "The bigger question is if Aunt Nina or Daddy will let you get to her before they do..." She tilted her head, "I can definitely tell you if she tries to kill my father, and you get in my way, you will die...." She said, with a beautiful smile on her face. Even underneath her injuries, she still maintained her poise. 

She turned to the door when her father opened it, and smiled to see her cousin, Sorin. "Speak of the dashing devil!" She said. He walked over to her, "We're matching robe buddies!" He said, sitting next to her, wearing a black robe. His hair was messy, and she played with it. "Oh god..." He gently took her hand, looking at the black and blue marks on it. 

"Yeah, I got beat up...." She said. Sorin raised a brow, "But she's worse, I'm sure..." Elysium grinned, "Maybe so...."

"That with the DNA sample should most definitely prove who this girl is.  The bigger question is if Aunt Nina or Daddy will let you get to her before they do...  I can definitely tell you if she tries to kill my father, and you get in my way, you will die...."

"That is a problem.  A major problem... but I do very much value my life..."

Suddenly Sorin showed up and Zakk couldn't resist to give the guy a quick hug before finally sitting down.

"Sorin, I'm going to entrust you and your uncle with some antidotes of various exotic snakes... just in case she does attack and you happen to get poisoned..."

Sorin and Chris took the anti-toxins. "Thankyou..." Sorin said. "But... I don't see how she would know I existed..." He said, placing the vial down. "I didn't even know Anna was my mother until recently, how would someone else know..?" He asked. Chris nodded, "If she knows who you are, she's a lot closer to our family than we thought..." He said.

Elysium laid back, growing tired. "Perhaps she received information from another source..." She said.

Sorin looked at her, "Possibly..." He then turned his attention back to Zakk. "I appreciate you looking into this, but..." He placed his hand on Zakk's. "Elysium is clearly not a weak person... I don't want you getting hurt over this..." He said, concerned. Zakk was his closest friend since coming to Tokyo. He loved him, like a brother.

"Are you sure you can handle this...?" He asked. Chris pined in, "I believe he can handle this... One thing you need to learn about our family... We deal with more life or death situations than most families would. Zakk is no different in his Police work. It sounds harsh, but... You have to learn to come to grips with that." He said, as nicely as he could.

"I appreciate you looking into this, but... Elysium is clearly not a weak person... I don't want you getting hurt over this..."

Zakk was just about to say something, but Chris had taken the words out of his mouth.  He is right.  Zakk does run into many life or death situations.

"Thanks for the concern, Sorin, but your uncle's right.  If the killer does decide to come for me, I've got a few tricks at my disposal.  With the anti-venom, if she does poison me, I just need to drink the antidote.  However, the antidotes aren't instant-cure, but they will get the venom out of your system before it causes serious problems to your body.  It's not very likely she'd attack me, since if she kills me, it's going to be obvious.  It's never a good idea to kill the very same cop investigating you, unless of course... you're trying to send a message."

He really did doubt this venomous woman would attack him.  It didn't make sense with her motives.

"If anything, she's going to be gone for awhile.  She bled out a lot. Probably broken a few bones.  Which reminds me, I should check every clinic.  If she's trying to be covert, I really don't think she'd come to the hospital.  Probably a back-alley clinic.  That's usually what my father does when he gets injured, because the hospital is the first place that they always look.  Surprised she didn't go after Lillian.  Guess she saw with all the security, it wasn't worth it."

"Too many people around..." Elysium said. "She attacked me when I was alone..." Chris agreed with his daughter. "She attacked Lillian was she was by herself. The girl ran away when I came in." He said.

Sorin sighed, "Just... Be careful..." He smiled. Elysium took a deep breath. "As nice as it is to see all of you, I would like to rest now..." She said. "Come back soon, Sorin..." She said, flashing him a small smile.

"It's the least I can do..." He said, smirking. He got up, and walked out into the hall with Chris. "Are you going to stay here..?" Sorin asked his uncle. Chris nodded, "Just in case... Plus, I have to let Marcella know. She's probably wondering where we are..."

Sorin nodded. "Keep me posted!" He said, and then turned to Zakk. "You, you owe me a hangout, and soon!" He smiled, "Bye guys..." Sorin then left.

Zakk nodded.  "I see.  So, looks like the attacker is acting alone.  So it's just one person involved.  This makes my job easier."  

He stood up as he was about to leave.  "I'm going to go check the clinics to see if she might be there.  It's very likely she's solo."

Maybe she was already in Japan?  Who knows?

"You, you owe me a hangout, and soon!"

"We'll see once I find the time.  Right now, we need to find this woman before she attacks someone else."  That was his priority right now.  He'll put the whole Mishima investigation on hold.  

"But it's good to see you're doing well..." Zakk said to Elysium.  He then turned to look at Chris. "And I trust that you should be able to defend Elysium.  A quick tip, analyze her weapons and arms and see if you could disarm her without getting poisoned."

Without another word, Zakk left the hospital to do some more investigation of his own.

[Ling Xiaoyu]

Hearing that Elysium was in the hospital, Eric rushed over to the facility to check on her well being. Checking for her room number near the front desk, Eric had with him flowers and a get well soon card.

Upon reaching her room, he noticed the door was open but out of courtesy he knocked anyway before peeping his head around the corner to see Chris and Ely, he walked over to her beside and placed the card and flowers next to her.

He nodded over to her father, showing his own concern for Ely. Looking over at Ely, Eric placed a hand over hers, gently caressing it, his brown eyes looked to hers, "I came as soon as I found out you were in the hospital, What happened? Are you feeling okay??"

Elysium had rested for a while, before Eric came to her aid. She sleepily smiled at him, "Eric..." She took his hand. Chris stood up, arms crossed. "She was attacked by the same person who killed her grandmother..." He said. He sighed, "She did fight her off, though..." He gently placed his hand on her shoulder. "I'll go outside.." He said. "I'm gonna check on Lillian..."

Elysium nodded, then turned her attention back to Eric.

"I put her in bad shape.... but I got poisoned, so... Here I am..." She said.

[Ling Xiaoyu]

Eric felt bad as he listened to the story of how Elysium ended up here, it wasn't the best news to hear but on the positive side, at least she is okay, and doing well. To Eric, that was mostly important.

He flashed a small smile at Ely, "Well, I'm pretty sure you went out fighting. And the important part is that you're okay..." He sat back in the chair behind him, "And I can breathe a sigh of relief, do you know how many red lights I ran to get over here?? Haha.."

Looking over at Ely, his face became a little bit down, but he kept calm, "Ely.." He started, "I'll be going home to Sweden for a few days, if you want, I can stay for a little while longer but I may have to leave early, being that my flight is tomorrow morning.. Are you going to be okay while I'm gone?"
