This is a nice 5-bedroom 2-story home with an outdoor courtyard in the middle, along with a koi pond. In the back of the yard is a nice swimming pool, but it was covered due to the weather. It also had a basement, where Fulong had collected artifacts that belonged to his ancestors that the Japanese stole. Since his family occupied only three bedrooms, the extra two would be used for Xinglong and his wife and their family. There was also a study where Xinglong could do his homework, and Fulong could do some research on the whereabouts of his family treasures, as well as some housings that were going up for sale that he purchases for his business.
As Fulong arrived with Drusilla, he made his way to his home, unlocking the keys to find that his family had evacuated. "Good. They made it out." He muttered as he entered the empty home. "Now, it's in the basement."

Drusilla smiled as the two entered the home. "It looks nice in here..." As Fulong guided her to the basement, Drusilla could feel the dark energy there. She looked around, making sure nothing was around. If the demon were to attack them, this would be the time. They would never see it coming... She took note of the sword and shield on the wall, before looking to Fulong,
"We have to stay on edge, lest the demon find a weak point..." She said. "We need to get the staff of light from it, aswell..." She mentioned. What was this thing planning...

"Thanks." He said. "I worked really hard for this." Which was true. Real estate was a tough business in the mainland. It took intelligence, hard work, and perseverance that got him to this point. Once they were in the basement, Fulong had turned on the lights, browsing through this little "muesem" he had. If push come to shove, he'd grab one the spears that his ancestors used in battle. He would also try and grab the chest-plate armor that he picked up.
"We have to stay on edge, lest the demon find a weak point... We need to get the staff of light from it, aswell..."
"Right. I think he's waiting for us to grab the staff. He knows he can't get it." It was somewhat like a maze of sorts. "We should be getting close."
In his hand, Fulong held a small bronze dagger that he picked up from the entrance of the basement earlier. It was a good-luck charm of sorts, as well as the ability to ward off evil spirits.
"Maybe it was a good idea to try and bring Little Wulong along with me." Not that he didn't trust Drusilla, but he really wanted to show Lei the latest artifact that he had found.

Drusilla stuck close with Fulong as they headed towards their prize. She cast a field of protection, a white light of sorts. WHen Fulong mentioned that it was a good idea to bring Wulong along. Drusilla could only grin. "Why couldn't he make it..? Too busy for the end of the world..?" She asked, facetiously, smiling at Fulong.
Truthfully, warriors decide if they want to be warriors. Nobody could make Wulong do anything he didn't want to do, and as such, this wasn't his fight anyways.
She continued walking, hearing whispers in the back of her mind. She closed her eyes, warding off fear. She was not scared.

"Why couldn't he make it..? Too busy for the end of the world..?"
"Yeah. He has a lot on his plate. He's still trying to bring Heihachi to justice. So he still has work to do in Japan... but he said he will come join us in the fight later."
Which was true. Wulong had promised him that he'll attend to him after he talks to Heihachi. They weren't too far from the vault. Finally, Fulong made it to the vault.
He unlocks the combination and removes the paper talisman that warded off demons from the door and climbs into the vault to grab the staff. He also grabs a broadsword as well, with a red flag at the end, tucking the dagger on the side of his belt loop. He holds the sword, looking at his reflection.
"I was supposed to hand this to Wulong. It used to belong to our great-great-grandfather. It was rumored to have been forged from the iron from his blood. He passed it down to his first-born, and as did my great-grandfather, my grandfather, and now... I need to pass this down to him. I'll give this to him once I go see him in Hong-Kong." Fulong then handed the sword to Drusilla. "Hold on to this for me, please. You seem to know your way around a sword." Fulong then holds the staff. He noted that he didn't have a negative reaction to it.
"Aww... here it goes..." Fulong said, looking around, expecting the Espelhar to appear.

Drusilla took the sword. "In my time... Sword fighting was... it was a honor to fight for your country. Tales of the three hundred who fought... My father handed me a sword and shield at the age of five..." She smiled, holding on to it. It felt good. A shroud of darkness surrounded them, and Drusilla immediately gripped the handle. "Here we go..."
Out of the darkness, Drusilla saw the point of a sword, crafted from a mirror. As it faded, The Espelhar was revealed, smiling. It was strong, and Drusilla could feel it's strength radiating.
"...I see you've been feeding..." She said, holding the sword close. The demon grinned, "Fear is such an important thing... It shows I have power over those who are weak minded..." It said. Drusilla grinned, "Well, then you should see... I do not fear you..." She said. The Espelhar shook it's head, letting the blood soaked cloak fall from it's body. "We'll see about that..." It said, lunging the sword at Fulong. Drusilla blocked the attack, with her weapon. She turned to Fulong., "GO!" Smiling with delight, The Espelhar clashed swords again with Drusilla, "Strong I see...!" It said.
She spun around, aiming the sword at The demon's throat, but it back inches away from the point, kicking Drusilla back. She grunted, gritting her teeth. They clashed swords four times, high, low, and mid, until Drusilla punched the demon straight in the face. "Ouch!" It said, bleeding from the lip. "Daniel says that hurt!" It said, grinning at her. Drusilla wasn't going to let it get to her. She sent two kicks to the demon's knee and stomach, to which it shrugged off. "You're pathetic, Drusilla!" It said, hitting her in the chest with it's sword's hilt. She fell to the ground, gasping for air.
It then drew it's sword down towards her with great force, but the witch blocked it's attack with her sword. "I will not let you win!" She yelled out, as she kicked the demon's knee. A loud crack echoed throughout the basement. The demon violently laughed, as it cracked the knee back into place. "Stupid girl... You should know better..." It then attempted to stomp her, to which she rolled out of the way.

"In my time... Sword fighting was... it was a honor to fight for your country. Tales of the three hundred who fought... My father handed me a sword and shield at the age of five..."
"Yes. Indeed." Fulong nodded in agreement. "Yes. My grandfather fought in many wars during his time, and I believe he used that very same sword. My father trained me when I was 7. I know a little bit, but I am far too old to use it."
When the darkness appeared, Fulong held onto the staff tightly with both hands. He watched as the demon had appeared.
"Fear is such an important thing... It shows I have power over those who are weak minded..."
"Well, then you should see... I do not fear you..."
"And neither am I." Fulong added.
Just as the Espelhar was about to attack Fulong, he quickly grabbed his lucky dagger and held it up anticipating his enemy to attack him. However, Drusilla had stopped him, allowing Fulong to make his get away. He ran up the stairs without looking back, closing the door behind him as he then tried to figure out where they were going to place the staff. It wasn't until when Fulong heard a crack. He hoped it wasn't Drusilla. Then he realized that he was starting to feel fear. Closing his eyes to focus and clear his thoughts, Fulong let that fear go. He held the staff, wondering if there was something he could do to help Drusilla.
Fulong then grabbed a yellow paper from his bedroom, and took out a paintbrush and pen, writing some words on the paper. He chants some words as he writes it. Finally after finishing the chant, he places the talisman on the staff, preventing demons from touching it. He then takes it with him as he grabs a wooden stake.
He sneaks his way back to the basement and as he saw the Espelhar fighting Drusilla, Fulong throws the stake right at the demon's back. After throwing it, he felt his shoulder give out, popping as he groaned in agony. He tried to pop his arm back in place. He wasn't like his younger brother who could easily climb any building as though he were a monkey. Fulong is very stiff and can't move his joints as well. The stake made from a peach tree. That has been known to ward off demons as well.

The Espelhar was about to strike Drusilla down, when it was struck in the back by a piece of wood. Drusilla maintained her defense stance, eyeing the demon. It reached behind it, and yanked the piece of wood out of it's back. Energy echoed throughout it's body. "Meant to repel me...?" It snickered, holding it's hand out, sending the energy of the wood intended for the demon, directly at Drusilla, who was sent flying, hitting Fulong on the way.
"God damnit!" She hissed, scrambling to her feet. She noticed blood running down her leg. The sword must have cut her, she felt a dull pain on her side.
It rose the sword. "Come now, Drusilla. It's time for you to turn to dust!" It said, aiming it's sword at her. She knocked it out of the way with her sword, falling as she tried to spin out of the way.
"Too late to heal... Too late to save the day..." It's eyes brightened. It turned to Fulong. "The time has come!" It said, turning back to Drusilla. "You're out of time.... Witch." It then disappeared. She clutched her wound, "Fulong, do you still have it!?" She asked, looking around. "Do you!?" Her heart was pounding. What did it mean she was out of time..?"

Fulong looked in shock when he realized that the blessed peach tree stake didn't work. He even failed to react when Drusilla was thrown at him. He didn't let go of the staff at all. He groaned as he laid there.
"I'm going to be here for a minute..." He said before sitting up.
He eventually got to his feet, and by that time the Espelhar had vanished as he helped Drusilla to her feet, noticing the wound on her leg.
"Fulong, do you still have it!? Do you!?"
"Yes, of course." He said, resting his weight on the staff. "What really got me was how that didn't work. It came from a peach tree. It should have hurt him... but it didn't! Oh I know! The damned con-artist He lied! It didn't come from a peach tree! It's just a plain old wooden stake!"
He sighed once more. "This is an even bigger threat than I had imagined... I mean if the Sirius sorcery didn't work... what exactly is going to work?"

Drusilla winced as she stood up. "...Think of it... like a mirror..." She leaned against the wall. "The energy in the wood, meant to dispel the demon... It reflects power... Used it on me..." She said, breathing slowly, closing her eyes. "Shatter the mirror... and there is our window..." She said, walking up the stairs.
She prayed to the gods, and hoped they weren't too late...
"I need to find my book... I'll use the black mirror to see i, if I even have the energy..." She said, clutching her still bleeding wound.

"...Think of it... like a mirror... The energy in the wood, meant to dispel the demon... It reflects power... Used it on me..."
"How do you fight such a powerful demon? There has to be something it can't reflect." He said. "Does it reflect the fists?"
"I need to find my book... I'll use the black mirror to see i, if I even have the energy..."
"Alright. First aid kit's over there. We need to rest up first before we make our next move."
When the Espelhar said that it was time, he wondered what that meant. Was the demon going to strike his brother next? Or was it going to attack his grandson. He didn't know what was going to happen now. He had to go see his oracle. The wise old woman always seemed to know the future. She knew Lei was in danger. Maybe she can tell him if his grandson is in danger.
Fulong then grabbed his phone and dialed his oracle.
'Hello. Madam Jing, It's me, Lei.'
'Ahh, yes, Lei. What is it that you seek?'
'I want to know... what will become of my grandson?'
'Xinglong? Let me see... give me a moment. Let me communicate with the ancestors.'
Fulong tapped the counter as he waited.
'Danger befalls upon the young one... A flash of light will engulf him.'
'A flash of light... Oh no! I need to save him!'
'You cannot. It is not your fate. It is his destiny. This must happen...'
'But Xinglong...'
'With such tradgedy... will have great power. You will become stronger. You will avenge him. But the time is not now. You must rest... you and your brother together... strong.'
Without another word, Fulong hung up, running his hands through his face.
"Drusilla, what am I going to do? The Espelhar is going to kill my grandson! He's going to Rome! The oracle told me!" This was the first time Fulong has actually lost his calm demeanor. Now he is scared. "She told me that his death will give me the power I need to avenge him. I can't let my only heir pass away! Otherwise, I'd have to let Wanrei be the heir... and... but I want Xinglong to be my heir! I don't want my fortune going to my nephew who knows nothing about his ancestors!"

Drusilla was silent as Fulong was on the phone with his Oracle. She pursed her lips when he asked her questions, and mentioned he wanted Xing to be his heir. "...If it is his time, it is his time... As you've seen, this is a war... and in war, there are casualties..." She laid her head back, against the wall. "He has been part of this war... The moment he agreed, he volunteered..." She tilted her head, "But... Some survive... The chance to survive, that is what we fight for.." She said with a smile.
"As for your heir..." She chuckled. "It is said that those who remember you, carry your legacy. It does not fall to just one person... We touch many lives in our lifetime. Your heirs are many... and they shall be fruitful, and they shall tells stories to their grandchildren about you... and they shall remember you..."
She began cleaning the blood off of her side. "I agree we need to rest..." She looked up, cold from the sweat of her battle. "Once we are able, we must join the fight in Rome..." Her eyes turned to Fulong. "There, you can protect Xinglong." She said.

"...If it is his time, it is his time... As you've seen, this is a war... and in war, there are casualties..."
"Yeah, and Madame Jing said that his death will make me strong enough to fight this demon... Wulong and I both..."
"As for your heir... It is said that those who remember you, carry your legacy. It does not fall to just one person... We touch many lives in our lifetime. Your heirs are many... and they shall be fruitful, and they shall tells stories to their grandchildren about you... and they shall remember you..."
"If it weren't for the one-child policy, Ying Xiao and I would not have had to try so hard to conceive a son. We were lucky it was on our first try. Meanwhile, Wulong can have as many kids as he desires, though I don't think it would be wise of him to have his girlfriend bear him a child. He is far too old to father a child so young. And the child will be a half-breed like his brother."
Fulong then sighed to himself. "I sometimes wonder why Wulong likes white women so much. It's not like Hong-Kong has a shortage of Chinese women like we do here in the mainland. Some things are just never meant to be understood. I mean I have no problem with white people. Don't get me wrong.". Fulong raised his hands in defense. "It's just that some bloodlines just aren't meant to be mixed. But going back to heirs... In that sense, I suppose I have many heirs..."
"Once we are able, we must join the fight in Rome... There, you can protect Xinglong."
"Yeah. I wish we could leave now, but the ancestors have already decided on his fate. No matter what we try, Xinglong will be no more."

Drusilla could only laugh at Fulong. "You would be surprised what your heritage would hold...." She took his hand. "Take my word for it..." She said, smiling at him. Her wound finally started healing, and she took a deep breath. She walked to the main living area, sitting in the sofa. She lifted up her bloodied shirt, relieved the see the would gone. Her head began to dull with pain, but she would suppress it.
"I think the demon is gone...." She said. "Shall we stay here, until were are ready to head to Italy..?" She asked.
She was worried. The demon told her she was out of time. What could it have meant by that? Why would it abandon the staff...?

"You would be surprised what your heritage would hold.... Take my word for it..."
Fulong nodded. "We have a tablet that details every member of this family dating all the way back to the Ming Dynasty. Which I believe is when the clan became known for their combat prowess, as well as being powerful exorcists. My Father told me that we are the descendants of Sun Wukong, The Monkey King, and that some of us have his powers. You'd think they wouldn't get wiped out so easily by Japanese troops. But they did." Fulong shrugged. "Well, it has to do with the fact that none of the clansmen were armed with guns. Only weapons they had were swords and spears. Thankfully, my grandfather, grandmother, and father all survived, leaving with my brother and I, though apparently, my father had a younger brother and sister. He never mentioned either of them. Wonder why." Fulong shrugged.
Once Drusilla took a seat on the sofa after seeing her wound has healed Fulong then sat on the couch as well, turning on the TV.
"I think the demon is gone... Shall we stay here, until were are ready to head to Italy..?"
"Well, probably going to have to stay here." He said, sighing. "I don't think I can book a flight to Italy soon enough."
The TV then showed images of Kazuya Mishima in his Devil form as there was footage of G-Corporation being blown up. Also a news report questioning whether or not it is a hoax, or if it is real and that Kazuya is a demon.
"Kazuya Mishima is a demon?" He said in confusion. "That explains why Little Wulong was so persistent in stopping him. I always thought he was just a sociopath. Well, I never saw the man in person... would explain why Father mentioned that the Mishima family had so much Yin energy. He sensed the demons that the family hides. Little Wulong said it was called the Devil Gene... I wonder... is this what Father died trying to stop?"
