Dublin, Ireland, the capital of the country of Ireland. Which was part of the United Kingdom. This was also where the Williams family Estate resided as well as the remaining archers from the attack. But it was also a place for business and tourism. However...
Retching noises could be heard as Elise’s pale form hovered over the toilet bowl as Lei had her messy curls held back and gave her a light back massage. She woke up not feeling well and now she’s throwing up. Lei noted that Elise has been feeling tired and throwing up a lot lately. He was a little more than concerned for the frail woman’s health.
After Elise finished puking, she flushed the toilet and rested on her knees as she placed her head on the now closed toilet seat. Lei runs his fingers through Elise’s hair as the woman rested.
“Should we cancel the meeting?” Lei asks Elise.
“No, it is fine, dear. I just need to rest.”
“Are you sure you don’t want to go see a doctor? You've been pretty out of it lately.”
“It is fine, dear.” Elise said, louder this time after repeating herself. She then managed a weak smile. “Besides, I just have food poisoning from dinner that you cooked last night.”
“Oh c'mon! The food was cooked all the way!”
“You did forget to turn on the oven…”
“Look, who designs an oven without knobs? How was I supposed to know if it was even on?"
“You look at the screen. Besides it is time you get a new place, especially if your oven still has knobs.”
Lei wasn’t sure if Elise was hinting that she wanted to move in with Lei if he found a better apartment or if she is just poking fun at his apartment with shitty appliances. Lei could afford to move in somewhere better, but if it was just him, Li-Mei, and Xianlong, there literally was no point. But with Elise now in the picture, along with Katya, he has to find a better place. He hasn’t quite settled on an apartment yet, but when he does, Elise is going to enjoy it. Either way, Elise had to get up. Lei crouched over and lifted Elise up. He has one arm under her legs and the other supporting her back as Elise wrapped her arms around his neck, resting her head as she closes her eyes due to being tired and not feeling well. He carries her out of the bathroom, down the hall and into their shared bed in the cottage that they were renting. He places the woman down back on their bed. He pulls the covers over the woman and takes a seat next to her on the side of the bed.
“Do you want me to fix you some coffee?” He asks, resting his hand on her shoulder.
“That would help me very much. Thank you.”
Lei gets up and makes his way into the kitchen to go prepare Elise some coffee. As he poured the coffee he thought about their relationship in the past four months. They have gotten a lot closer than before. Lei got to meet her family. Elise’s mom, the sweet old lady, kept urging that the two should get married. Though Lei didn’t really like the woman’s treatment of Katya, calling her a ‘sinful’ child. Lei wondered if the woman sensed her Devil Gene or if it was just her entire conception and creation. Lei got to meet Elise’s brother, Dr. Nikolaj Kristovitch. He’s a great guy. He got to meet the man’s children and grandchildren. It was nice to meet the man who helped Elise sober up. Then he met the oldest sibling, Natalia Bartekski. He didn’t get to meet as much of her family, but he did get to meet the woman and her husband. Lei also liked Natalia eventhough the woman and Elise were quite distant. It was nice to be welcomed into another family. Lei didn’t get along with Catherine’s family too well. Pai’s parents liked him at first. However, when Lei had to do a serious undercover work that lasted for two years, Pai’s parents convinced Pai to break off the engagement and refused to speak to Lei. Thankfully, they adore Li-Mei. In addition, Lei took Elise to go meet his brother and his family. Elise really bonded with Fulong’s wife and Fulong’s daughter-in-law. Things were going well for the couple. Now all that was next was to convince Elise that she should live with him in Hong-Kong. That way, they can process the immigration papers, and then possibly get married.
The coffee pinged as that signaled that it was ready. Lei grabbed two mugs and poured the coffee into separate mugs. Lei prepared the coffee the way Elise likes it, and he left his own mug alone. He grabs a book that Elise was reading and handed Elise her coffee and book as she sat up in bed, rubbing her temples.
“Here you go. How’re you feeling now?”
“Better. Thank you.” She fetches her glasses and puts them on as she drank her coffee and picked up her book and began reading it.
It was her usual morning routine. Elise wakes up, drinks coffee and reads something that Lei couldn’t decipher. Lei found it very charming in a cute way. It made this woman appear so sophisticated.
“Elise, I’m going to go have a quick shower. I’ll be right back, okay?” He kisses her forehead before slipping away and heading to the bathroom. Lei had completely forgotten about his mug at this point and left it on the nightstand. He takes a moment to look at his reflection. He adopts a wide and confidant stance as he holds his hair into a ponytail with his right hand.
“Good Morning Miss Williams. You’re looking quite marvelous today, if I say so. I would like to make a request that you cease all production with G-Corporation. I feel that it is in our best interest to give the Mishima Zaibatsu the advantage in order to stop the war so that our children will live in a peaceful new world. Don’t you think so?”
“Bullshit.”
Lei jumped at the sound of his own voice. He noticed his reflection adopted a different pose than the one Lei was currently in. While Lei adopted his fighting stance, his reflection smiled wickedly with his arms crossed. “You really think you can save the world?”
“Of course I can! It’s my destiny! That’s why my parents died for!”
“Destiny, smestiny… there’s nothing you can do, Wulong.” The reflection wagged its index finger. “The world will fall to ruin… as will everything that you love. Elise… she will share her fate with your beloved Maya. Except you will see her in one-piece. That way you can see the disappointment in her eyes when you fail to save her.”
A pale hand reached out from Lei’s reflection, grabbing his throat, choking him. Lei watched as it wasn’t his reflection anymore, but the beaten, bloodied body of a woman he was once engaged to, choking him. She was missing her left-hand as she only had one hand to choke Lei with. Lei struggled to get free, before eventually performing a classic Kung-Fu move that freed him. Lei dropped on the floor to his knees holding his throat coughing as he gasped for air.
“Wulong! Are you okay?”
Lei stood up, surprised to see Elise so alert and ready when just moments ago she was so tired and weak.
“I’m fine… You may be onto something. Maybe I didn’t cook the chicken all the way…” He smiles at Elise.
“Or maybe it got stale from sitting in the oven too long before you finally cooked it.”
Lei knew that it was the Espelhar taunting him again. He couldn’t tell Elise that a hand just strangled him from the mirror. Not that she wouldn’t believe him, but it was just something that he had to keep to himself for now. He'll tell her later. But right now, Lei had to get ready to go see Anna and figure out what’s wrong with Elise later. He hoped it wasn’t something life-threatening.
You’re over thinking it again, Wulong. She’s fine… Elise just feels a little sick in the mornings. Nothing to stress over… but wait? Sick in the mornings? Tired for no reason? Feeling sore… that sounds familiar…
“Should I join you in the shower?” Elise asked, stopping Lei in his thoughts before he could reach a conclusion.
Lei shook his head. “No, not the best idea. Katya’s going to wake up at any moment now.”
Elise nodded in understanding. One time, Katya walked in on the two, and the pair took the opportunity to explain to Katya about the birds and bees, though Lei did most of the talking since he already explained it to Xianlong, Zakk, and Li-Mei (though he wasn’t as detailed with the toddler as he was with Katya and Zakk and Xianlong). Overall, the entire experience was awkward for the two and Lei didn’t feel comfortable with Katya around, since unlike Xianlong and Li-Mei, she doesn’t know how to knock. Elise was working on that. Elise told Lei that when the two have kids, Lei was going to be the one to give them the talk.
“Kill! Kill! Hate me! Give into the anger! Curse me! Kill them! Kill everyone! Show the world your anger!”
Katya found herself being surrounded by Kazuya’s devil forms all telling her different things one at a time. She heard laughter and as she found herself feeling dizzy. She tried to make sense of this. Soon the scene changed to a completely ruined world with Devil Kazuya standing on top of a destroyed building surrounded by fire and rubble as well as the sound of gunfire and people screaming. She looked down in the rubble and noticed a familiar corpse. One was of her mother, Elise. A metal pike went straight through her heart as dark-colored blood dripped from the corner of her mouth, nose, and eyes. Katya then noted that the lower part of her body was covered by piles of bricks.
“MAMA! MAMA! NO! MAMA!”
She hugged Elise tightly before Kazuya spoke. “Together, we can get revenge for what the Zaibatsu did to you! Your powers… they will be put to good use.”
“Katya! Wake up! Katya!”
Katya springs awake as Elise and Lei were both there. She breathes heavily as she sits up.
“Oh, Lei! Mother! You are all okay!” she quickly hugs the two.
“What happened?”
Katya held her hand up as the eye blinked. “It is Father again. He wants my powers.”
Elise told Katya about the procedure that created her, so she knows that she is just Elise’s genetically modified clone. But she sees Kazuya as a “father-figure” as she has his Devil powers and has nightmares about him. Antonio and Dr. Andreas were the closet thing to a father that she had.
Lei frowned upon hearing that statement.
“Kazuya will not get your powers! Listen, we are going to stop Kazuya… it will be fine…”
“I saw it! You were dead! Father killed you!”
“It is just a nightmare, Katya. Just relax. Okay?”
“Okay… um… Lei? Are you okay?”
Katya and Elise turned their attention to Lei who appeared to be in deep thought. He sat away from the two women, looking down as he appeared downtrodden. This greatly contrasted his usual bright, jovial nature. He appeared to be in deep thought.
“Wulong?”
Lei perked back up, smiling as he laughed quietly to himself, placing a hand on his forehead. “Yeah? Sorry. So there’s this funny little joke here I just thought of. I think you ladies would appreciate it. So anyway, silver walks into a bar…”
Katya completely toned out Lei’s joke as she just thought about her nightmare.
Daniel… I know how much you hurt… I hurt, too…Katya held her burning arm. But we’ll stop Kazuya together, won’t we? Once I save you. Don’t worry I’m coming to save you.
She was soon interrupted by Elise’s obnoxious snort-laugh as well as Lei joining in on the laughter.
“I know, right? Best joke ever!”
“Yes! I love these chemistry jokes!”
“You know I think I should probably make some more chemistry jokes... eh... periodically.”
Elise laughed even more as Katya couldn’t help but giggle. She has been studying science, so she gets the joke. After all, Katya knows… everything is going to be just fine. For now, anyway.

“Ahh, yes! Congratulations Dr. Kristovitch and Det. Lei, you are having dizygotic triplets!”
“Triplets?" Elise and Lei both asked the doctor at the same time.
"Yes, when she ovulated, she had two eggs, something women her age tend to do. Then one egg split in two, thus creating dizygotic triplets."
The two were not prepared for this at all.
"How is this even possible? I have diminished ovarian reserves!" Elise shouted.
"Yes, I see. However, you underwent a medical procedure back in 1997 that went on for several years where you went through fertility treatment to freeze your eggs during each ovulation cycle. Then, years later in 2005, your wife discovers that you are unable to conceive through IVF."
Elise nodded. "And we divorced because Haruka did not want to be the one carrying the child. And she wanted me to be the biological mother."
Lei knew about Elise's previous marriage to a lesbian woman. It was short-lived for several reasons: Elise wasn't able to have kids. Haruka was disgusted by the thought of Elise having slept with a man in the past. It didn't really disgust Lei at all, but he was a little insecure just because women are just so much better looking than men. Or he's just a heterosexual male who doesn't find other men attractive at all. But eventually, he came to trust Elise and understood that just because she was bisexual, didn't mean that she was going to leave him for an attractive woman.
"Undergoing such a procedure in the past, despite having DOR increases your chances of having multiple embryos. Adding several factors such as your age. Women who get pregnant over 45 have a one in 8 chance of having multiples. Your ovary tends to release multiple eggs during ovulation during perimenopause. And another thing, it is a misconception that DOR means that you don't have eggs in your ovaries. If that was the case, you would have been diagnosed with early menopause. Rather DOR just means that you don't produce enough good quality eggs for it to become fertilized. It also means that if your eggs do become fertilized, you are very likely to miscarry, due to the poor quality of eggs. Given your age and your partner's age, it is very likely that you might miscarry before the month is over."
The two didn't know exactly how to follow up from that. Now Elise knows that it is still possible for her to get pregnant, but the possibility of carrying to full-term is virtually impossible. The doctor really didn't put the two in a good situation. The two were silent before Lei finally spoke.
"So, what does this mean for us?"
"Glad, you asked Det. Lei. For Dr. Kristovitch, now that you know that you are carrying triplets, you are going to have to consume an extra 300 calories of nutrition. You are also going to have to eat for four now, and you're going to have to gain 20 to 30 kg in weight. You're also going to have to go onto a modified bed rest for the next couple of weeks. Once you hit the second trimester, you'll undergo a strict bed rest until you hit 28 weeks, you're going to be in hospitalized bed rest to prevent any complications from occurring, granted you don't end up miscarrying within the first trimester."
"I can still work, yes?"
"What is your occupation?"
"I am a lab technician."
"I rather you go ahead and go on leave. Having your unborn triplets exposed to all these chemicals is not healthy."
Everything seemed bleak for the couple. They were not prepared for this. Neither had the time or means to deal with this. Elise can't work at her job anymore. Elise wasn't sure what to do. Lei is a cop in Hong-Kong. He doesn't have time at all to go and tend to Elise's every whims and need as she lies in bed getting through the pregnancy. They had to figure something out. Then there's the risk of Elise miscarrying. While that solves the problem that the couple have right now, it's going to be an emotional roller coaster for the two. Lei wonders if this is a sign from his ancestors. He solved his father's murder, and exposed his findings to the world. Is this the next step in his life? Whatever was going to happen, Lei was prepared to face it head-on. But this time, he's not going to face this alone. Elise is involved in this, too.
"You'll have to excuse me for a second, I need to go to men's room. I'll be back. Promise."
Lei just needed to step out for some air. He stepped out of the examination room and closed the door as he stood outside. This was just too much to handle. He didn't know what to do. He got onto his knees and closed his eyes as he laid his head on the ground.
Ancestors, hear my plea... help me through this... show me the way... give me strength to see this through...
He laid there for a moment before thinking to himself. Finally, he stood up. Lei knew exactly what he had to do. He returns into the examination room, where Elise was crying but eventually was happy when Lei returned.
"You came back!"
"Did you honestly think I was going to just leave you alone? I would never abandon you like that! Not while you're vulnerable!"
After the meeting with the doctor and discussing a few more things, as well as prescribing medicine to Elise, the pair walked out of the hospital.
"What are we going to do?"
"I think it's best that we go back to Hong-Kong. You should stay at my apartment with me, until we can get this sorted out. You'll have a few extra hands helping you out. And when the tournament starts, I'll have Elder Brother Fulong watch over you while I'm gone. Katya can stay in Poland. Your brother can watch over her."
"I think this should work. Katya will miss me."
Lei nodded. "Yes, but I just don't have enough space for her and your bird. I've already got Li-Mei and Xianlong. I have my study. I just can't fit another bed into the girls' room."
"Get a bigger apartment then."
"I'm working on that." Lei said bluntly. "I just haven't had the time to go look." Which was true. He hasn't really had time to go down there and look at the buildings. He did take Li-Mei to a potential apartment, but the little girl didn't like it, so he had to look elsewhere.
"What about Anna?"
Lei didn't think that far. This whole thing really complicated things. "We'll just have her come to you, I guess?"
"I guess we are going to have to leave this up to fate, huh?"
"Yes. We are. But right now... that's all we can do."
Right after the two made it to the cabin, Elise immediately texted Clive.
"Got back from the hospital. I'm carrying triplets. And I'm probably going to miscarry. Also, I have to be put on bed rest, and Wulong is going to send me to Hong-Kong with him until we can figure out what we're going to do. I'm scared! Wulong is scared, too. But I have faith that things are going to work out in the end."

Elise smiled when she got the message. "Thanks. I will keep you updated on everything. Perhaps this is what we both needed to slow down."
She then looked up as she noticed Lei was putting on his jacket. That meant that he was about to go out.
"Wulong! Where are you going?"
"I'm going to go see Katya and explain the situation to her. I think it's best that she hears it in person. I also need to speak to Xianlong as well. Don't worry I won't say anything. Just tell her that I had an emergency to handle in Hong-Kong. But I am sure that between Katya and Xianlong, they can drive your car back to Poland."
Elise didn't exactly trust Katya to drive for long hours, but she knew Xianlong would do fine. However, it was the only way to do this.
"I won't be gone long. I'll be back. I promise, love. And when I do come back, we can sleep together."
"But the doctor said that we cannot parti_"
"No, Elise. Literally. We take a nap together. That's it." He yawned. "I'm tired. You're tired... we're all tired..." He said as he yawned.
"You are right. We are both tired. We should enjoy this quiet moment together while we can. Once we have the triplets, we probably won't have any more quiet time together anymore. Besides that, we need a plan."
Elise noted that Lei was no longer listening to her talk as he now rested his head on Elise's abdomen. He was whispering words to their unborn children.
"Wulong?"
"Hm?"
"They have not developed ears, yet, honey."
"Um, well, I was just practicing for my big 'Daddy Speech'. But anyway... I better get going."
He gives Elise a quick kiss before leaving to go see Katya and Xianlong.
Elise held her abdomen as she thought to herself.
I must be a lucky woman, yet I feel so unlucky at the same time... I wonder what the future holds for us five.

Chris decided to leave Lillian to the food, while he waited in the car. His phone buzzed, and he didn't recognize the number. He answered, "Yeah?" There was a pause.
"I know who killed Natalia." A scrambled voice said. Chris immediately sat up at attention. "...Who is this?!" He said. "Meet me on the Poseidon Cruise ship... All of your questions will be answered."
And with that, the line went dead. He looked at the phone, confused. Soon, Lillian got in the car, with two bags. "Got the food! Tell Nina to meet us at the Estate..." She said. She cranked the car up, and looked at Chris. "....Chris... Are you okay...?" She said, concerned. Chris looked at his sister.
"I need to go back to Japan..." He said. Lillian sighed, "Why...?" She sat back.
"....Someone called me..." He said, looking at the phone.
"....Who?"
Chris paused, and looked at Lillian. "Someone who knows what happened to Natalia."

Lei arrived back at the cottage after checking out his hand. Thankfully, he didn't break any bones, but his fingers were going to be sore for awhile. He went and bought Elise a multi-colored tulip, her favorite flower. He announces his arrival and enters the bedroom, to find the woman lying on her side asleep.
"Of course... you beat me to it." Lei muttered.
He places the flower on the nightstand and takes off his jacket and his shoes. She looked so peaceful and beautiful while she was sleeping. He then joined the woman in bed, laying down next to her, his back turned away from her. However, the woman awoke and turned over.
"Mmm... you are back..."
Lei turned to face Elise. "Yes. I told you I wasn't going to take long."
"Mmhmm... how did it go?"
"She actually was okay with our plans."
"That is a good thing." Elise muttered.
"Oh and by the way, our flight leaves in about 5 hours."
"I thought we were leaving tomorrow?"
"Change of plans. We're leaving tonight."
"Just cannot wait to get me to your house? Can you?"
"Well, the sooner we get to Hong-Kong, the better." He smiled.
With that said, the two went back to sleep to take a short nap.

Katya smiled. "These things happen sometimes, right?" She asked. "It's not serious?"
Nina sighed as she was stuck with the wonder twins. Thankfully Xianlong was more calm about this, while Xinglong still was trying to get over the sight of blood.
The three were in silence before Xianlong spoke.
"So, what happens next after we take care of Daniel?"
"I suppose you two can do whatever it is you two were doing."
"We were training for the tournament. I'm hoping to meet Lucky Chloe! Uncle Wulong taught me some of her choreography and made me watch all of her shows! He even let me borrow his T-shirt that I can wear when I see her!"
Nina raised an eyebrow. She never thought that the Super Cop had a thing for pop idols.
However, Xianlong knew that Lei only pretended to be her fan in order to play the part and get close to her. Since he won't be at the tournament, Xianlong is sure that she can do this on her own.

Lee was in his limousine in Dublin and called his adoptive half-brother.
“Lars, I have something to ask you…”
“Yes?”
“I just called Jin, well, his secretary, Jin is busy or doesn’t want to speak to anyone as always, I cannot reach him for anything but at least I asked her about Kuma. She told me Jin sent Kuma in the woods of Hokkaido prefecture where his kind thrive. I would need you to go and find him.”
“Find Kuma? But I’m looking for Kazuya, I don’t have time for a bear.”
“Have you some hints on Kazuya?”
“No, not yet. He really disappeared after the fight.”
“Well, then you can let go and start looking for Kuma. If Kazuya doesn’t want to be found, he won’t be. Beside Jin probably have more chances to find him. They will probably clash together soon. We need Kuma now.”
“But why? And if he is in the forest, how will I recognize him from the other bears?”
“You’ll easily recognize him, it’s the one with the t-shirt, or the scarf. Beside, he’ll probably recognize you as well, you have your father’s hair. Then you bring him to Violet systems and he will come to the tournament with us to honour Heihachi.”
“The one with the t-shirt… right…”
Lars was kind of dumbfounded. He knew his father had a pet bear but somehow that request for bringing the dressed-up bear was kind of ridiculous… Lee then added:
“Take Paul with you. He’ll probably be able to smell Kuma in the wood and vice versa.”
Lars sighed.
“But why is it so important? I don’t think Kuma is that intelligent to realize he is at some tournament honouring his master.”
Yet Lars knew that Kuma had that reputation of being more intelligent than a normal bear but Lars already didn’t want to go to that tournament. He didn’t like Heihachi when his father was alive, he fought him and even tried to kill him. He felt it was hypocritical to now come and honour him like if they liked each other while Heihachi was alive… But Lee had insisted on him coming, he had insisted that Heihachi was his father so Lars should come.
Flashback
Lars and Lee were discussing about that tournament and Heihachi.
“Yes, but I never knew him as a father. And he mostly was an evil man... I don't see why I should honour his memory, it would even be hypocrite to do so...”
“But still, he is your father. You somehow have a duty to pay some homage to him... It will be the last time we will be able to… Try to see the good sides. I know you want to do good and your father did some good things as well... You enrolled in the Tekken Force to do those things... He did help some people...”
“Yeah, he was good on the surface while he always acted in a corrupt way secretly. You told me yourself about many crimes he did.”
“But even those surface acts did help some people...”
“But the man as a whole doesn’t deserve my homage.”
Yet Lars saw Alisa, who was standing quietly beside Lee, looking at him… She looked so sad… And she then told him:
“Lars… a father is important… “
Lars knew how her ‘father’ was important to her. He knew Alisa loved very much her father, Dr. Bosconovitch and that she somehow felt sadness for Lars rejecting his father. Despite being a A.I. she was so sensible… And he knew that Lee had intentionally brought her with him to convince his adoptive half-brother since he knew Lars had a soft spot for Alisa. Lee knew Lars wouldn’t be able to say no to Alisa, who felt honouring his father was really important. Lars caught her sad gaze as she looked at him, almost weeping if he would not come to that annoying tournament… Yet her father was a good man, not Heihachi… Lars told the android:
“Your father is a good man, Alisa, not mine.”
“But he is still your father. You can only have one.”
She then gazed at Lee and said: “Unless you get adopted.”
Turning back toward Lars she continued: “But statistics shows that after eighteen years old, no one gets a new father or gets adopted, unless it’s by alliance or if you would live in Roman antiquity. So that person is special.”
“Yeah, special… Why should I pay homage to that man? My mother raised me alone, he knew of my existence but abandoned me, after he did those tests on me... I was just an experiment... He didn't care about me, he didn't care about anyone!”
Lars addressed Lee: “ I don't see why you want to pay homage to him...”
Lee seemed indeed a bit confused about it, he was indeed wondering, but said nothing as Lars continued:
“Why does when despicable people die, others act like they suddenly become admirable?”
Lars thought while looking at the horizon.
“For a while, I did like my father... when I discovered him and before I found out what he really was... When I thought the Tekken force were good and helping people… But I didn’t know him for very long before I learned what he was… In fact, I never knew him, we never spoke before that one time I tried to kill him…”
“… But you didn’t kill him…” said Alisa.
“No. Because he stopped the bullet.”
Yet also because Alisa didn’t want him to. Lars himself also had some doubts after that shot. He knew that it was something that he couldn’t have undone. If he had killed his father, he wouldn’t have been able to have a second chance and that was probably what they were trying to tell him now with that tournament. If he didn’t honour him now, he wouldn’t have any other chance… But just because he wouldn’t have any other chance didn’t mean he wanted to… Yet seeing how Alisa seemed so sad and how Lee now seemed so upset, Lars decided that he should please them.
“Fine. I will go to the Tournament.”
“Excellent! “ suddenly exclaimed Lee who still was himself torn between going or not but didn’t want to go alone. With his adoptive half-brother by his side, he would feel more at ease to go honour that father who didn’t really accept him. Alisa also made a happy smile and Lars knew that it probably was more to please Alisa and even Lee than to honour his father that he accepted but seeing Alisa’s happy face was making him feel good.
So Lars had accepted to go to that tournament… Now Lee continued speaking about Kuma:
“Oh he is. He seems even more intelligent than his father who was above normal bear intelligence. Beside, even if Kuma was just a normal bear, I know that Heihachi would have wanted him to be there.”
“I find this strange that you hated your father all the time he was living and now you do everything to please him…”
“I didn’t hate him, I was angry at him. Not the same thing. Well, I sometimes hated him but… whatever. I don’t have time to explain.”
“Hum. Fine. I’m not in your shoes, I don’t know what you feel or need to do. But okay, I’ll look for Kuma…”
Lee hung up the phone. He was glad Lars would look for Kuma… Lars was a great brother… The brother he always wished he had…
“Excellent.”
Yet Lars was right when he told him that he didn’t see why Lee wanted to honour Heihachi… Lee didn’t understand himself… Why was he doing that? Lee knew that what he was doing was kind of confusing, even for him.
He knew that if Heihachi was still alive, he would only bring him down and ridicule him… If Heihachi somehow remained here as a spirit, he would probably scorn him again and wouldn’t care at all about his performance. And Lee thought that how, despite adopting him, Heihachi never loved him... It only was for a twisted reason that the old man adopted him... To hurt his real son, Kazuya. Heihachi just didn’t care about him and never had. Even when Lee tried everything he could to please him most of his life… Doing many reprehensible things to impress him once he was working at the Mishima Zaibatsu, since that was how Heihachi wanted things to be done, even if Lee’s moral sense was troubled by this but Heihachi never appreciated him more and pushed him to do many things he regretted… Like with Mr. Chang… Lee remembered how this was the first mission his father gave him when he sent him to the United States. To recover some amulet… It all went so badly… It didn’t happen how it should have… Those thugs were not supposed to kill him… He would never tell Julia about any of this… Lee always felt guilty of all those crimes he had to do and angry at his father for forcing him into those situations yet he never dared tell him…
As he thought about this, Lee became even more spiteful toward Heihachi and wondered why he wanted to honour him. That man was disgusting. Indeed, as Lars said, Heihachi was evil…
Lee wondered indeed why he wanted to do this… He knew that if they would have meet since Heihachi exiled him, they would not get along. Lee now wished he could have talked to his father one last time but all those years, he never wanted to meet him. Lee always felt angry toward Heihachi and didn’t think he would have been able to speak civilly like he would have wanted now... But somehow, Lee felt his relation with his adoptive father was unfinished business...
Anna told him he was right to detach himself from his family and to stop hoping for their recognition. But he didn’t stop in fact. He thought he had for many years but he didn’t, or maybe he did, but not when Heihachi died… Seeing his adoptive father’s death on giant screen had been harder than he thought and had somehow pained Lee more than he expected. As everybody watched, he had to back away a bit to not show his trouble when the old man fell into the lava. At least no one noticed his sadness but this grieving somehow intensified with time. He felt that any hope for a better recognition from his father was now gone. He had always hoped, even when he didn’t know it, for his adoptive father to tell him that he was proud of him, that he admired his accomplishment. Far from Heihachi and Kazuya, building his own company, Lee had gained the confidence he lacked with them and thought he didn’t need approval from anyone anymore but he was wrong. He didn’t understand why he needed it, Heihachi was a despicable old man, always taking pleasure in mocking him and humiliating him, never caring for him at all, for anyone, except Kuma, so why did he need his approval? Why was he feeling empty like something was missing in his life now?
When that woman, Madison Grant, announced a Tournament that would replace the cancelled King of Iron Fist Tournament, Lee had felt he had to participate to somehow honour Heihachi. But while training, he always kept remembering how his father never was satisfied of him, how he was nothing more than a disappointment, how his adoptive father was always making fun of his failures, when not outright scorning him... Heihachi would probably tell him that he would lose… He wouldn’t have any faith in him… (mostly as Lee felt that he was actually the punching bag of both Lars and Paul in their training… they both were so much better…) Since Heihachi never cared about anything he did, would he even care about the honour and tribute Lee would want to pay him? Probably not...
… But maybe it wasn't to honour him but to show him… to show him that he wasn't the failure his father always said he was, to show him that he was worth something and that Heihachi should have realized it...
Yet that death had brought back so many memories, like when Heihachi had found him in the streets and told him how he was impressed by him and wanted to adopt him. That strangely combed man looked so kind and cheerful then, somehow his cheerfulness even chasing away all distrust Lee always had of anyone, since the young boy decided to follow him… That man had thought Lee was worthy of his attention and took him out of the misery he was in and saved him… Heihachi had appreciated him enough to take him to his family… Lee then felt totally grateful to his new father and felt affection for that cheerful man, his savior. He then thought everything Heihachi had done for him was out of kindness. But then, after some months learning Japanese while following Heihachi on his long business trip, they went to the Mishima mansion to meet Kazuya and Lee then found out about Heihachi’s true nature… The young boy realized what Heihachi really wanted and slowly began to understand that Heihachi didn’t care about him at all. But even once he found out, Lee still had affection for that father who turned out to be so ruthless and manipulative and he still wanted his approval… For years, he tried to change his father’s mind and show him that he could be a good son… It didn't work but Lee knew that despite all his meanness toward him, Heihachi had done the most helpful thing in his life; he took him out of the misery he was in, he gave him a chance to live a rich life... He gave him an education, taught him how to do business... Not many street kids received that chance. In the streets, he would probably have become a criminal, then would have ended dead in a fight or something… He also did crimes with the Mishima Zaibatsu but somehow Heihachi may have saved his life and gave him a much more comfortable existence than if he was in the street... Even if it wasn't out of kindness, he still owed much to Heihachi…
And now with that tournament, it would be the last chance he would have to honour that father who didn’t care about him but who gave him so much, so he thought that he probably should do it. And maybe if there was such a thing as Heihachi’s spirit roaming around, the old man would be happy to see his beloved bear fighting for him and maybe would even be happy to see his illegitimate son… Lee thought it was important that they came. He was being selfish when he wanted to impress his adoptive father since it was more for his own self-esteem but he had to bring the others for Heihachi.
At least, once that tournament was over, he would be able to try to get out of that mourning and go on with his life. Right now, he also was getting out of that mourning by thinking of others, like Anna, who was living something far more difficult. After his more relaxed call to Lars, Lee began to feel worry once more about Anna. He had waited for her to show up for dinner and she never gave any sign of life… It was getting late… Lee kept remembering her desperate gaze as she told him that she was scared… She was terrified. He wished he could do more to help her but he just didn’t really know what… But that sad expression kept haunting him…
Too worried, Lee decided to go back to the Williams’ mansion to see what was going on.
(Sorry for my use of Alisa)

The trio pulledup into the hospital parking lot with Daniel in tow. Sorin and Claudio helped Daniel inside the emergency room entry, where a charge nurse approached them. "Help! He started vomiting blood, and then passed out..." Sorin said, as the nurse nodded. "We need a gurney.." She yelled out, and two more nurses brought one. They laid Daniel on it, when the nurse started checking his eyes. "Can you hear me, sir!?" She looked at Sorin, "What is his name?" Sorin walked with the hospital crew as they wheeled him back. "His name is Daniel..." The nurse nodded, "Daniel!" She called out to him, with no response. "Sir, you'll have to wait out here..."
Sorin stopped, as he watched his brother brought back.
Sorin sighed, walking to Claudio. "I can't believe this is happening..." He said, sitting down. Claudio nodded, "We will just have to wait.." He said, kneeling down and taking Sorin's hands into his. "He's going to be okay... He's been liberated of the demon, now he's with the people who can help him physically." Claudio said. Sorin nodded, kissing Claudio's hands. Claudio stood, "I'm going to go find you both something to eat. I'll be back soon... What would you like?"
Sorin smiled, "A burrito." He said, as Claudio cracked a smile. "Alright..." As soon as he got Katya's order, he walked out side.
He got into the car, but his hand was grabbed. He turned, "Anna!" He said, getting back out. He looked her up and down. "Sorin has been trying to get a hold of you for hours, Daniel is..." He paused. "...Are you going to a funeral..?" He noticed her midsection, there was sign of pregnancy... "Oh god..." The grip on his wrist, tightened, as black marks appeared on her body.
"Hello, Claudio..." The Espelhar said to him. Claudio snatched his hand away, back into the car. "I don't understand!" He said. The demon laughed, shaking it's head. "You don't need to understand, Claudio..." Claudio frowned. "Why reveal this to me..? Surely there are better candidates to inflict misery on with this new host of yours..." Claudio said, with disgust. The demon tilted it's head, giving a cruel smile. "Why revel in the misery of some poor abandoned boy... when I can revel in your misery of having to tell him that his mommy has been possessed...?" The demon placed it's hand on Claudio's chest, getting close to him. "To see the look in his face when all hope leaves him... That, my beautiful Claudio, will hurt you so much more..." It said, laughing. "Didn't you know this was all a show for you?" It asked, sarcastically.
"Just... Do me a favor..." It said, as Claudio spat at it. "Don't tell my sister, just yet... I want this to be... a surprise..." It said, grinning.
"And if I do?" Claudio asked. The Espelhar then ran it's tongue across Claudio's neck. "A few tears won't be the only thing that boy will have to worry about..." When Claudio opened his eyes, the demon was gone. He let out a frustrated sigh, wiping the spit from his neck and feeling his stomach turn at the feeling. He got in the car, and went to get the food....

Kayta stood back and watched all the doctors at work. Was this her mom's work environment? She stood there silently and let the doctors do all the work. She took a seat at the waiting room trying to remain calm. She could feel herself get agitated as the voices in her head encouraged her to kill Anna. Thankfully, after taking a few deep breaths, the sinister voices we're gone. For now, anyway.
"He's going to be okay... He's been liberated of the demon, now he's with the people who can help him physically."
"Yes, he's right, Sorin!" Katya added. "He'll be just fine!"
"I'm going to go find you both something to eat. I'll be back soon... What would you like?"
"Get me a burrito, too." Katya added.
When Claudio left and Sorin was sad, Katya wasn't sure exactly what to do. Hugging didn't work for Daniel. What did Lei do? He says words of encouragement.
"Daniel is a fighter! He will pull through!"
Her phone buzzed but Katya ignored it. She was more worried about Daniel than whoever it was texting her.
Nina eventually arrived. Xianlong ran to comfort Katya as Xinglong stood there.
"What's the diagnosis?"

Sorin turned to Katya smiling, "Yes... He will..." Sorin truthfully hadn't gotten the chance to really know his brother. Was he a fighter? He had to be.. Surely he was. Anyone who had been what Daniel had been through in his life would be a fighter. Sorin had to trust that gut feeling... When Nina walked in, and asked what the diagnosis was, Sorin frowned. "We don't know yet... They just took him back." He said to her, "Please tell me you got in contact with Anna..." He said, almost desperate at this rate... It was strange that she wouldn't speak to anyone...
A few hours later, a doctor came to the group. "...Hello... You were the ones who brought him in, yes?" He asked, to which Sorin nodded. "Yes, I'm his brother..." The doctor nodded, "Your brother is stable. He was..." The doctor paused. "It was like he hadn't eaten or drunk anything in months. His body was incredibly dehydrated and malnourished."
Sorin nodded, "He's... had a hard couple of months..." He said, only saying what the doctor needed to hear... How does one explain demonic possession to a doctor anyway? "Is he going to be okay..?" The doctor sighed, "Well, there were some other anomalies..." Sorin raised his brows. "...There were mirror shards in his stomach." The doctor revealed to them. "We want to keep him here for a few days, just to make sure..." The doctor said, "I need you to fill out some information for him... He's not conscious right now..." The doctor handed Sorin a clipboard. "Bring those to the charge nurse when done. We will let you know when he's awake." He said, before leaving.
Sorin sighed, sitting down. He started filling out the paperwork, as tears silently streamed down his face.

"I'm literally the last person she would want to speak to." Nina said.
Eventually when the doctors returned Katya jumped for joy. "He's going to be okay? Right?" She asked Sorin.
Nina was actually glad that Daniel was going to be taken care of.

Sorin shook his head at Nina, "Somehow, I actually doubt that..." He said, as he filled out the paper work. He wiped his tears, and took a deep breath. He smiled a little at Katya. "I think so. We don't know the extent of the ritual he was forced to take part in..." He then stopped, "...but Drusilla does..." He narrowed his brow. "I'll try to contact her again after we get this done..."
He got to the point of family history, and Sorin frowned. He knew that arthritis ran on his father's side from his grandfather Clive, but he knew nothing of Anna's family medical history. He looked at Nina, "Do you know of any diseases that run in our family?" He asked her.
His stomach began to rumble, he wondered where Claudio was...

Nina shrugged. "I honestly don't know anything. I think high blood pressure runs in the family."
Katya nodded in understanding. Now that she knew that Daniel was going to be okay, she went to check her phone. However, her eyes widen as she gasps.
Katya, I'm sorry... your mother miscarried the triplets this morning... she'll be staying in Hong-Kong with me for awhile. I tried to convince her to go back to Poland with you... but she needs time to grieve. I'm sure you understand.
Not wanting to put the attention on her, Katya didn't say anything, and just put her phone away.

"I guess that makes sense... seeing you all so mad..." He said, laughing. Sorin noticed Katya's worried expression, and placed a hand on hers. "It's gonna be okay..." He said, smiling. Sorin sighed with relief when he saw Claudio return. Claudio handed the bag to Sorin, giving off a cool expression. Claudio nodded at Nina, turning his attention to Sorin. He sat next to Sorin, and ran his fingers through his hair.
Claudio looked at Nina, "Any updates on your sister..?" Sorin shook his head, eating his burrito. "...She hasn't talked to her." Sorin answered for Nina. CLaudio looked at Sorin, "I see.." He said, looking at Nina... Examining her, he felt something different.
"...Your block... It's been removed." He said. "Have any life altering experiences..?" He asked, with a smile. He couldn't let them know Anna was the one possessed now. Sorin could be hurt... Sorin will be hurt anyways...
