Gin stopped his steps and just looked aside without turning around, "SN-95? As noted on the wanted list? Poor red-head nee-san... even her name isn't mentioned, so, she never considered as an human beings at all. Dangerous? Everyone who hunted down and died also were considered as "dangerous" including the infants as long as a threat to the zaibatsu, right? That reasons are not working anymore. But don't worry! If someone tried to harm her including former allies and yourself in front of my eyes, I will destroy them! Win or lose doesn't matter. I have nothing to lose anyway.", after Gin heard after the word "loyalty", Gin said to his former supreme commander, "Loyalty is always two-way arounds. The subordinates loyal to their leaders and the leaders also loyal to their subordinates as well. Tekken force has been betrayed us, Mishima Zaibatsu has been betrayed us, YOURSELF has been betrayed us! You have no rights to said about "loyalty"! Now excuse me! We need to think about how to destroying the G-Corporation's forces as well as their entire leaders. The world has got much more damages because of them.". Gin looked forward and went out, left the meeting room and the main building.
Outside the main building Gin met PJ and PJ requesting, "Ginban-sama. I need to visit Dr.Bosconovitch." "Hm? Something wrong with your systems?" "Negative! Just reconfirming my current condition, Ginban-sama." "Granted! Let's go to the Bosconovitch Lab."

Jin crossed his arms and watched as Ginban had left. He wasn't going to bother explaining to him anything. If he's going to protect SN-95, so be it. But in the end, Kazuya cannot get his hands on her.

~~~Three Months Later~~~~ The war between the Mishima Zaibatsu and G-Corporation still rages on. As Jin had to think of a new strategy fast. Though he made it look like as though the Zaibatsu was weakened, it seems that Kazuya has no intention of keeping his "good guy" facade and is no longer holding back. He's attacking more fierce than before. He sends in air strikes, capturing many villages, and doing more evil deeds. He has truly become the Devil itself. Kazuya was indeed hellbent on destroying this world. It's now up to Jin to save it. However, unlike Kazuya, Jin had a few tricks up his sleeve. Namely, his team of scientists working on an anti-Devil Gene factor. He managed to secure some of the Genocell research and has his team of scientists try and make the cure. Hopefully, this can be used to stop Kazuya and end the war once and for all. And himself. He also failed to capture SN-95. He needed to capture her in order to protect her from Kazuya's clutches, and use her to unlock the secrets of the Devil Gene. However, she evaded capture, but Lei was connected to the experiment somehow, and had Jin trust him that they will keep her away from Kazuya. Jin also agreed to the terms and deals with the UN. He'll help end the war and stop Kazuya, and in return he'll turn himself in. He made the same deal with Lei, who agreed to assist him in stopping Kazuya, but once Kazuya is done, he is going to press charges against him. Jin had already planned to turn himself in. But with the failure of ending the Devil Gene by destroying Azazel, put him in an even tighter spot. He now had to trust the science, instead of following legends and fairy tales. Now, the next step is to watch and wait for Kazuya's next move.
After the most important was taken care of in the Bahamas, Lee thought he did all he could. He just couldn’t do any more here and seeing all the desolate land made him feel too sad, sad about everything, all the people who passed away recently, those hurricane victims and that poor Anna… He really couldn’t do anything for her as she was being killed… by Nina… She may have done it to supposedly ‘save’ her sister but she probably didn’t care much… That… bitch… there was probably another way to save Anna… But of course, Nina didn’t care…
Yet she is taking care of Anna’s baby… Why wasn’t it another sibling doing it? They were all better than her… But whatever. She was still working for Jin and Lee knew he couldn’t get in a fight with that woman. He didn’t want to have Jin on his bad side… Anyway, he has been able to endure Heihachi and Kazuya for years, he could endure seeing Nina sometimes… And he may not have been able to help Anna as he may not be able to do more here but he had to do something for one who needed help now, his nephew Jin.
So Lee went back to Japan. Even if he could have visited Marshall in the USA, he didn’t dare do so. Marshall wasn’t aware of Paul missing and Lee just didn’t know how to tell him… Paul and Marshall were so close, Marshall may take it very badly… Once Paul would be back (hopefully) Marshall may learn the story. Right now, Lee arrived in Japan and took his limousine that stopped at the Mishima Zaibatsu where he asked to see Jin. He learned Jin was in the meeting room so he went to see him. As he entered, he exclaimed joyfully:
“Hey Jin! Aren’t you glad to see your favourite uncle? …Just don’t tell Lars that I’m the favourite… He may feel sad… By the way, is he back from returning Kuma to the wild? I guess so, he must now be commanding some troops against Kazuya’s forces?”
He then added on a more serious tone: "And how are you?"
Jin crossed his arms at annoyance, but that's just how Lee is. He's very flamboyant and loves showing off his personality. Not that it is a bad thing.
"Kuma didn't seem very happy about that. But he's a bear..."
When Lee asked how Jin is, he could only reply, "The same. But I remain hopeful."
"Well anyway I know there is a cottage near the place Kuma is sent. I’ll buy it and put cable TV in it. So he will be happy."
He then said as he heard Jin’s answer:
"Hopeful! That’s the good attitude! Excellent!"
Still cheerful, Lee was about to hug his nephew but suddenly felt he maybe, probably, should not. So he stopped and told Jin: "You know that I am very proud of you, Jin?"
"Good. I honestly never really cared too much about that bear, but he sure does have a bit of a personality. He's a strange one."
Kuma was weird. But Heihachi was a weird person. At least up until he betrayed him.
"You know that I am very proud of you, Jin?"
"For basically doing something that will save us all..."
Lee still wanted to hug Jin, not really knowing how to interact with him, he somehow wanted to treat Jin like he would have loved to be treated; he knew he would have loved some hugs and affection when he was younger, if Heihachi had been kinder… and less scary… Lee still wondered if Jin would have loved a hug.
But Jin was not like him, he looked far more like his father who really wasn’t the cuddling type… But then even Kazuya and Jin weren’t alike, despite looking a lot like it, Jin somehow had a loving mother and received love when he was young while Kazuya lost his mother so quickly that Lee could not say his adoptive brother grew up being loved at all. Five years old was far too soon to lose your mother… No wonder Kazuya was not used to hugs… or even became what he was now… But he, himself, had lost both his parents at eight and he didn’t turn out like Kazuya had… Even living alone in the streets and with Heihachi as a father some years later… But Kazuya was the main target of Heihachi’s hate… and despite not being the main victim like Kazuya, even he did turn out a bit badly around Heihachi, who seemed to only be able to bring out the worst in his children… Becoming selfish, jealous and extremely vain… Just how Heihachi wanted him to be, to sparkle his rivalry with Kazuya… The only thing he needed him for…
Lee may have felt sad when Heihachi passed away but now that all the shock and emotions were over, he was glad the old man was dead and somehow felt relief at thinking about the fact that this chapter was now over. People he loved died lately and Lee was still sad about it but Heihachi dying was a good thing. The old man lived his life to the fullest while destroying all his sons and grandsons’ lives with his cruel attitude, not to mention all the rest of the people he also hurt or destroyed… Kazuya was actually a monster because of him, Jin never could fully recover from his mother’s death before being betrayed by Heihachi and now felt distrustful because of him… If it wasn’t for Heihachi maybe Kazuya and Jin would be hugging each other now…
Yet they did have that Devil gene making them do things… and for once this wasn’t Heihachi’s fault… But Jin was fighting that evil influence quite strongly. He may have started the war first, he may even have acted in a mean way sometimes but he was full of good will to end the war and bring peace, unlike Kazuya who sadly fully gave himself to that evil gene… Lee didn’t know how it was to fight that gene’s influence but he was certain it must take a lot of will to do so… Jin was a courageous young man…
Choosing to act in a way between not touching Jin or hugging him, Lee decided to put a hand on his shoulder while telling him: “Yes, I'm proud of you for being a courageous young man, for being a good person… It takes a lot of courage to do what you do. But you never give up. And I don’t want you to give up. But you don’t need to do everything by yourself, you know… If you sometimes need someone to express your feelings and your worries, I’m here.”
Jin knew what Lee was doing. But this is the last thing he needed right now. It was nice of Lee to reach out to him, but this something only he can do alone. He plunged the world in darkness. Only he can save it.
He didn't need a reason for self-preservation. Otherwise, the cursed Mishima bloodline will continue.
"I appreciate the offer, but we have no time for emotions."
Lee was not surprised at Jin’s reply. He made a sad smile and said:
“Indeed. We have no place for bad emotions either. Self-destruction and guilt have no place. It still muddles the mind.”
“I know, but it must not give you more pressure either to put everything on your shoulders. Even someone with the Kazama blood can need help. Your mother didn’t want you to be alone, that’s why she sent you to your grandfather. I know that you’re the one who can save us but you have to rely on others when you need it, not face everything alone either physically or emotionnaly. Your mother asked for my help when she tried to save your father and I want to help you as well now. You can rely on your blood but also on your friends and family. But anyway, I just wanted to tell you that you can count on me and that I care for you.”
"I will keep that in mind." Jin replied. But he really meant it. Jin honestly wished his mother had sent him to Lee instead of Heihachi, but given the circumstance, he understood why he went to Heihachi. He's family, even if that means killing and betraying each other and throwing each other off cliffs and volcanoes. But he was his grandfather and raised him like a good grandfather.
Jin wondered if under better circumstances that maybe Heihachi would not have betrayed him. Maybe that's why his mother didn't want him to kill Heihachi.
Lee hoped Jin would really keep that in mind and would really feel that his uncle, both his uncles, cared for him. Lars may seem more detached (probably less annoying as well…) but, Lee knew Lars cared for Jin, he wouldn’t be allied with him now if he didn’t… Everything that happened between them was because of the Devil gene. How Jin acted cruelly when Alisa ‘died’ but also how Jin put the world into chaos to destroy that same Devil gene.
He then wondered again how far Jin’s researches on the Devil gene were. Apparently Jin seemed optimistic, so it probably was going well… Both Elise and Julia worked on it and they were good scientists, they were very intelligent and dedicated persons. He knew Elise since he worked in the laboratories with Dr.Bosconovitch and he helped Julia pay her university while noticing her excellent results so he knew how they were.
Lee didn’t really know where they were in their researches, maybe he could go see them and ask them, it has been so many years he didn’t go in the labs… Maybe he could even learn more about Mika’s accident, Lee still didn’t know all about it, he knew a big part of it but he knew he would also be able to go through the files once he’s head of the Zaibatsu, he would then know all about the details and tell Helena while also protect Elise from Helena’s wrath… Elise already felt enough guilt… But a mother had to know what happened to her son, he couldn’t leave Helena in the dark and mostly, couldn’t leave Mika like this… The best would be if they could find a cure to heal Mika’s burned eyes. But aside from this, now that the Mishima laboratories concentrated on the Devil gene, to really get rid of it and not to experiment on it, it probably would go fast on that case.
And if Jin was cured, only his pure Kazama side would remain… Then he would be like another Jun… And if that cure succeeded to save Jin, they could also maybe save Kazuya from the gene as well… Mostly with the help of the then pure Kazama, Jin… They could try to do like him and Jun tried years ago… If somehow Kazuya was more affected by that evil gene since he didn’t have the pure Kazama part, he may be saved by his own son… But there was the UN and that deal… And Jin’s understandable hate of his father… Not to mention Kazuya would never let himself be exorcised… He’ll die fighting or die destroying the world since he now fully embraced that gene… He had changed a lot since the time he was the small and shy little boy that Wang had described to Lee… Lee only knew Kazuya once he was the aloof and loner kid who never accepted him and that his father always punished, punished for anything. Yet now knowing what Heihachi lived, Lee could somehow understand his fear of his son but there would have been a better way to deal with that, now, he made Kazuya even worse… To the point that Lee really didn’t know if Kazuya was redeemable… Probably not…
As he had felt bad when Heihachi died, he now was somehow slightly sad that they had to kill Kazuya. He would probably get over it, like he did for Heihachi whom he probably hated more than Kazuya but still…
Anyway, Kazuya was now far more dangerous than Heihachi ever had been and he probably wouldn’t stop even if he now killed the responsible of his troubles. And he maybe already killed Paul and Kaiyo… And before thinking of maybe saving Kazuya, Jin had to be saved… Jin, who would probably die as well in that war… And who was prepared for it, which somehow made it even sadder… A young man is supposed to enjoy life, not prepare his own death…
Lee looked at Jin, he physically looked so much like his father… The young man was making Lee think of Kazuya and the brotherly ties they never had but that he sometimes wished they had… But it never worked, even when they tried after the first tournament… Lee remembered when he was in that same room twenty-something years ago as Kazuya’s secretary and realized how much more corrupt and evil his brother was, compared to Heihachi… But now Lee had the feeling he could replace the bad relation he had with Kazuya by getting along with his son… And Lee never having children, somehow considered Jin as his now adoptive son… Ironically, he would inherit everything Kazuya should have had… the Mishima Zaibatsu and Kazuya’s son… He then asked his nephew:
“Hey, you want to go out, Jin? Take a break? Or you don’t want to hang out with your old grey-haired uncle?”
Of course, Lee wasn’t seriously thinking that he was that old, though he had experienced some aging problems during the tournament. Like that swimming race that he and Helena lost against the younger Ravens… And his disappointing performance during the tournament… Many would tell him he fought well, he was still among the best, but it wasn’t enough to win the tournament… He gave his all and still lost… He knew that he was still in a really good shape for his age but he probably would have won both the race and the tournament if he was in his twenties… and didn’t smoke… But he was also quite distracted by Anna’s torments… Feeling sad for her while never knowing what to do or how to help… Anyway he wasn’t alone on this, most people were distracted with troubles during that tournament with that evil demon that plagued it… As always it never was a normal tournament… But the fact was that he did age and Kazuya would totally beat him if they met now… Like he probably did with Paul, who was the same age but in even better shape than Lee despite the too many pizzas and junkfood he constantly eats… Lee worried again for his friend and his helicopter pilot. What did Kazuya do with them? Maybe he would have to try to contact him again…
“So? What do you say, Jin? You want to go play pool in that bar near the Zaibatsu? The owner is a friend of mine, I can go behind the counter and get whatever I want anytime. Maybe you want to remain in the building? Then we could go play bowling… Did you still keep those Heihachi pins? Or you changed them? It has been such a while I haven’t been there…”
He was surprised when Lee asked if he wanted to go out. It really isn't the best idea, considering that the entire world hates him. However, the idea of doing something might make the time go by faster.
"So? What do you say, Jin? You want to go play pool in that bar near the Zaibatsu? The owner is a friend of mine, I can go behind the counter and get whatever I want anytime. "I suppose we should go out. Gives me something to do."
