Anna continuously screamed in agony, falling to the ground. Her screams eventually turned into sobs. Images all around showed her visions of her at just seventeen, giving Sorin to Antonio for his protection. So he wouldn't be drawn into death. 'I hope you understand why I have to give you away...' echoed through and through, with the images of Sorin being impaled by Anton's sword and falling to the ground seemingly lifeless. Everything she ever did in her life. All of the choices she made to keep Sorin away, they were all for no reason at all. She spent what felt like an eternity sobbing into the dark ground.
She screamed in emotional and physical pain as mirror shards began taking form on her body. Yet still through all of her screams, and the echoes of the past and present, she still heard a voice.
"...Don't cry, Anna...."
Anna looked up, and the air caught in her throat. "....Daddy...?" She began sobbing again, as the pain took over. "Daddy....! HE'S GONE, DADDY!" She sobbed. Richard looked on solemnly, shaking his head. "...He's not gone, Anna... That's fear talking..." Anna wasn't listening, as she continued crying. "Everything in my life.... EVERYTHING I'VE DONE WAS FOR NOTHING! I sacrificed everything for NOTHING! I failed him... I failed as a mother, as a sister, as a daughter...! I'm not enough! WHY CAN'T I EVER BE GOOD ENOUGH!?" She screamed. Richard looked on, full of sorrow. His daughter had no confidence, no happiness... He knew this was his fault.
Richard knelt down in front of her, raising his hand. "Look..." Anna was still crying, as she looked up at the images changing. The images of death and sorrow turned to images of life and happiness... "No! You're just being cruel! Always! Always choosing Nina...!" She said sobbing. The images warped, and she screamed as the pain intensified.
He cupped her face into his hands once more, "....Don't let this fear grip you, Anna! You are strong! " He paused. "...You were always enough, Anna..." Anna's eyes looked up at him, as tears continued streaming down her face. "...W-What...?!" Richard brought her into an embrace. "...You are enough... I love you, Anna..." His voice cracked as he spoke. Anna began to cry even harder upon hearing it from her father.
The pain then began to subside, and the mirror shards began to disintegrate. She looked at her father, as he began to fade. "...I love you, Anna..." He said, as his voice echoed away...
