Arc 1: World Anew (Roleplay Plot)

The year is 2019...

The world is in shambles after the magnitude of wars between the Mishima Zaibatsu and G-Corporation. Blow by blow, piece by piece these two corporations went beyond great lengths to destroy each other, all while the world itself crumbles beneath their grasp.

Japan, one of the nations hit heavy by the destruction that came along with the wars, the same wars that still continue to this very day. A land that was once so pure, now broken and lost.

The only place of refuge are places that are far away from this once peaceful land. International cities seem to flood with newcomers, that they themselves cannot keep up.

Alas, in the mist of sorrow, there is light...

With the disappearance of Jin Kazama, the war between the Mishima Bloodline may soon come to a halt.. Maybe the world will resurface once more after all?

Sub Arc 1 of A World Anew

As any mother would, Johanna Williams went through hell and high water to ensure her children's success. Johanna did not believe they would be able to raise the next generation with the values that she had raised her own children with, so she took matters into her own hands, as Anna had given away the first born, Sorin. Preparations for the new generation of the Williams family had begun shortly after Nina and Anna disappeared, or so many thought Johanna had believed. Under her direct supervision, Johanna had Nina and Anna impregnated with the DNA of fighters she knew were incredible assassins. Thus came Projects NT01 and NT02. NT01, now known as Steve Fox, escaped the clutches of Johanna and the Zaibatsu. NT02, Daniel Wolfe, did not. The projects were, as Johanna would put it, Tests. After Steve Fox escaped, she deemed the projects a failure, still keeping an eye on Daniel. With the knowledge that her son, Christopher, had a daughter unknowingly(Marilyn), she kept a close eye on her two grandchildren, hoping Nina would soon follow suit. With her thumb print on Sorin and Marilyn's lives, Johanna knew she could eventually mold them to become what she always hoped. 

Biding her time, Johanna waited until the perfect moment to reveal herself to Anna. Under the guise of protection, Johanna brought Christopher with her to live with Anna until the war was 100% resolved. Anna grew suspicious, and hired Ling Xiaoyu as a spy. With the leverage of Jin Kazama, she knew Xiaoyu would want the resources that G-Corporation had to find him. With Xiaoyu's unwilling help, Anna discovered that it was a possibility that the Williams Matriarch had their father killed, and that Heihachi Mishima was involved in some way. Putting their differences aside, Nina and Anna worked together to form a plan to get revenge on their mother. 

While on his off time in Japan, Christopher met and fell in love with a Zaibatsu soldier named Marcella Torres. The love was met with fire and distress when Johanna stepped in the way, having Marcella kidnapped as her son's final test. As Anna's final test, Johanna had Sorin kidnapped aswell, to face her responsibility as a mother and now teacher. 

In the mansion once built for Johanna, she implemented her final plan for her three children. Christopher refused to assassinate Marcella, and Johanna shot him four times. Her reasoning being that she would rather 'him die at her hand than some amateur'. Distraught, Johanna went into the music room to await Nina and Anna. 

Nina, Anna, Helena and Lei Wulong arrived on the scene. Helena, being a friend of Sorin's, quickly came to his aid when Lei informed her that he was taken. Inspecting the mansion, Anna had discovered her brother severely injured, and Marcella and Sorin bound to chairs. She released them and ordered Marcella to take Chris to the nearest hospital. After regrouping with Nina, lei, and Helena downstairs, Anna and Sorin faced Johanna. Johanna implemented her final test to Anna, and Anna refused. Aiming a gun at her daughter, Johanna shot at her. Although, no one was anticipating Sorin getting in the way, and getting shot instead. 

Horrified by her mistake, Johanna went into the restroom, while Anna took her son to the hospital. After a moment, Johanna pulled herself together. As the strongest, it was Nina's turn. And her final test? A battle to the death. 

After Lei asked Johanna if she knew his father, and her declining to even answer, lei and Helena took their leave. 

Nina confronted her mother about the death of their father. Johanna claimed that her own mother, Joanne Martin, killed him to show Johanna what it takes to be a mother. Soon after, Johanna and Nina fought. During their battle, Johanna revealed that it was her who had Nina taken and made an emotionless killer. The battle was a short, yet violent fight that ended with Johanna being stabbed by Nina. Nina then shot the roof of the near condemned mansion, with rubble falling on top of Johanna. 

Shortly after Anna discovered the existence of Daniel Wolfe, she made haste to get him out of the Zaibatsu. She succeeded with the help of Marcella. Now at the hospital, everything was turned upside down. Sorin was still asleep, and Chris was comatose from his injuries. After Anna went back to work, an unexpected arrival came to the G Corp hospital. She was Marilyn Lyons, Christopher's daughter. 

In the end, Johanna Williams died knowing her children did have what it took to live the lives of an assassin. However, the many secrets that she had, have only just begun to reveal themselves...

{NINA VS JOHANNA}
"Glad to see that annoying flirt is gone." Nina got into her stance. "That man is the reason why I couldn't kill Steve. But he won't be here to save you! Not today! This time, you will die! No more tests! It's over. I don't care anymore..."

Nina was very confidant that she will kill this woman. I'm not leaving until this old sack of bones is gone!

Johanna laughed, "This is your ultimate test..." She got into her stance. Johanna smirked, "This is the end, my daughter..." Johanna then sent two jabs to her daughter's chest and throat, before spinning around giving her a blow to her mid back. She backed up a few steps, still in her stance.

"Is that all you have, Nina..? I know we taught you better!" She smirked.

Nina smirked. Her mother did the first attack. Nina had tried to block the throat attack, but rather, she was hit in the gut, and finally in the back. As Johanna's hand connected to her back, Nina spun around, and sent a side-chop to her mother's side, followed by a kick to her calf to force her onto her knees.

"Getting too old for this? --- Johanna was hit in the side, and fell to her knees. She grit her teeth, and grinned at Nina. "That's more like it..!" Johanna then stood, and sent two kicks to Nina's side. She then gripped her daughter's head, and sent two kicks to her face, before throwing her down. Johanna flipped her hair.

"I was actually happy my mother killed Richard. In the end, she was right... and You'll see that I'm right. It was your father's fault none of you were prepared for what was to come.." She sent a kick to Nina's stomach, and laughed.

"GET UP!" She yelled. "SHOW ME HIS WORK WASN'T IN VAIN!"

Nina catches her mother's leg and flips her down onto the ground. As her mother gets back up, she swings in a few jabs, hoping to damage her vital organs. She was really angry, and her mother was starting to annoy her just like Anna. She is everything like Anna, annoying, bitchy, and can't come close to defeating her.

"Shut up!" Nina shouted after getting hit in the stomach. In response she sends in a reverse kick to Johanna's chin, that wounded up with Nina back just a little further, still clutching her stomach [Reverse Ivory Cutter].

Johanna grunted when she was hit in the chin. It caused her to bite her bottom lip. A little blood trickled down her chin. She chuckled. Smirking, she sent her palms toward Nina's stomach, and then kicked Nina's feet from under her. She gripped her daughter by the neck.

"Face it... You were always hailed the strongest, but you are in fact the weakest!" She shoved her daughter and laughed.

"I have done everything in my power to make you who you are now! Who do you think had you turned into the perfect assassin!? You...?" Johanna shook her head. "No... I had you made in my image. And you and Anna fell for it quite easily."

She picked up her pistol, and pointed it at Nina.

"You were to be my most prestigious project, and instead you were a failure." She smirked. "Anna was always better than you..." She laughed. "She passed her test. She took her son back." She hissed. "Obviously you are the failure. You can't even defeat your mother in hand to hand combat...!"

Nina figured out really quick that this was just a mind-game. Her mother was taunting and teasing her, getting Nina to cave in. She was distracted, but now she's focused and calmer. She emptied her thoughts and focused on her one primary goal: Kill Johanna.

Nina rolled her eyes and sighed. But her babbling on and on about how her plans have failed just made her open to attack. Nina didn't care about what her mom had to say. She was just here to kill her. That is all. Doesn't matter what she says, Nina doesn't care about her mother's project or anything. She just wants to shut that annoying mouth of hers. Nina smirked once Johanna pointed her gun at her.

Nina held her hands up. "You're right. You are exactly like Anna. You made Anna into yourself. You couldn't make me this annoying, emotional brat who loves to run her mouth and likes to go under the knife... And when you find out that I'm nothing like you, you considered me a failure. That's how it is. Not to mention, you're just as arrogant as she is." She smirked. "And now you're going to end me. Go ahead, make my day. After all, I've always wanted to die young. Better by your hands than that minx."

Johanna ignored Nina's comments about Anna. She held to gun to Nina's forehead. This was it... Her legacy was to be with Anna, Sorin, and Daniel. Nina and Christopher were deemed failures, and Johanna knew she had to be the ones to end their lives. Her eyes welled up, while she maintained a confident posture. She believed she had won. But at what cost? Johanna knew if she didn't take their lives, someone would. And they would not be so merciful to make it a quick death.

"Goodbye, Nina..." She said, before pulling the trigger...

She fell right into her trap. Just as Nina had anticipated. Johanna had played right into her hands. She couldn't believe she would take the bait. Nina knew what she had to do. She knew what was next. She went over this several times in her head.

Nina still held her hands up, wanting Johanna to believe that she got her. Just during that split second she saw Johanna pull the trigger, in one swift motion, Nina grabbed her knife, rolled out of the way of the fire, and was now by Johanna's side. She takes the opportunity to slash the side of Johanna. She then kicks the side of her head, rolls once more, and pushes her back with her palmed hands. That of course wasn't fatal, but eventually she should bleed out.

"Did you really think it would be over that quickly?"

Nina dodged the bullet, and to Johanna's surprise, her daughter stabbed her side. She was knocked down. Laying on the floor, clutching her stab wound, she managed to roll over, and prop herself up on her elbow. She laughed, weakly. "That's the daughter I raised..." She looked to her, shaking. "Nina...!" She said... "You have... passed..." She laughed again, smiling. "Atleast two of my children can handle what comes next..." She spat blood on the floor, and rolled on to her back. Blood began to spill on the floor, as Johanna looked to Nina.

"Finish it.." She said, sternly.

"Finish all of this... a-and... be the woman I always dreamed you'd be.." She groaned at the pain. "After all of this... is said and done.." She looked Nina in the eyes, "Make amends with your sister..." She said. "That is my final request..."

She closed her eyes, and awaited death. For their entire lives, Johanna and Richard made sure they would be prepared. From drugging Nina, to reuniting Anna and Sorin, to taking out Christopher before anyone else had the chance...

"DO IT!" She screamed.

Nina did a number or two on Johanna and it shows. And now she is groveling on the ground asking Nina to end her. This seemed a little bit too easy. It wasn't going to be too long before she finally bleeds out. Nina picks up her gun. She could let Johanna lie there and suffer instead of killing her outright. However, if Nina walks away, Johanna may come back to kill her. No matter what she does, Johanna wins. But Nina didn't care anymore.

Nina reaches over to grab her pistol. She was almost certain that Johanna was going to get up, but if she moved around too much, she would die. Nina then knew what to do.

She points her gun upward, pointing at the ceiling. She shoots the ceiling several times before it fell down and impales Johanna.

"At least yo have a roof over your head." Nina said to Johanna.

Upon impact, Johanna grunted. Pieces of the roof impaled her in the stomach and chest. Her eyes widened, and then relaxed... She was numb. Her head laid to the side, looking at her daughter. She smiled at her. She couldn't speak, but... the woman was proud. Nina had become the woman she needed her to be...

Her children would be okay.

Her vision of Nina faded to black, and her trembling body became still...

{FLASHBACKS}
April 19th, 1995



"Chris...!" He heard, just after falling asleep. The fifteen year old stirred in his sleep, rubbing his eyes. He looked over to see his sister, Anna. "Chris... the baby is coming...!" She whispered urgently. Chris immediately sat up, "What!?" "SSH!" Anna, sat on his bed, "Daddy's at a job, mom's asleep... I need you to take me..." He nodded, and got up, pulling on his shoes. "Where is Nina..?" He asked. Anna just nudged him, holding her bulging tummy. "Antonio..?" He asked, Anna still pushing him. He looked back and could see the pain on her face.

He helped in in the car outside, and then ran around to the other side. The ride to the ER was eerily quiet. They got there, and he helped Anna into the ER after parking the car. "She's giving birth..!" Anna cringed, "Labor... I'm in labor..!" The hospital staff took her back, and Chris rushed to be by her side. They had her in the room, waiting for time... A few hours passed. Anna only let out a few cringes and grunts of pain. She wasn't being sassy, or giving serious sarcasm, or being her usual self at all. Chris was worried. The time came for her to deliver her baby. Chris held her hand, as she gave birth to a baby boy....

After the birth was all said and done, The doctor asked Chris if he wanted to cut the cord. "Uh... Yeah..!" He put the gloves on, and took the scissors. Before cutting, he looked at his sister. Her eyes were glassy.... She was silent, staring off in space. Chris turned his attention to the task at hand, and cut the cord. He gave the scissors back to the doctor, smiling a bit, looking at his nephew. He was an Uncle, and he was so excited. Chris was wondering why Anna wasn't happier.

The doctor gave Anna her son, and she held him, looking at him after he stopped crying.

"Oh... baby..." Tears began streaming down the brunette's face, "Mommy has to let you go... I hope that you understand, even without any explanation, why I have to do this.." Chris looked on in heartbreak.... He had never seen Anna look so crushed before. "I hope that whoever takes you, will give you all the love you deserve.... and that y-you won't end up with one like mine...."

She kissed his forehead, and gave him to the doctor.... She looked away as he took her son, tears streaming down her face. The nurses cleaned her up in silence as she cried, gave her the medicines she needed, and left. When they were alone, Chris crawled next to Anna, laying next to her. He wrapped his arms around his sister as she violently sobbed. "It's gonna be okay, Anna..." was all he could say, as he started to cry himself...

"It's gonna be okay."

August 19th, 2017



Chris was sitting in the woods. He was wearing all black, and in his hand was a rifle. He pressed the call button on a burner phone, "I'm here." He said quietly.

"Get it done." Johanna's voice came across the phone.

Chris hung up, and looked through his file regarding his hit. 'Aiko and Alin Vladimirescu...' He thought to himself. The photo provided was of a Japanese woman in her mid forties, and a Romanian man in his early fifties. In one of the photos, they were with what seemed to be a flamboyant young man.

He closed the file, and kept a look out for a white Sedan on the country road. He saw it coming up, along with a mustang coming on the opposite lane. He cocked his gun, and aimed.

With the silencer on his gun, he fired a shot, hitting the back left tire of the car, causing the mustang to crash head on with the white sedan. The crash was loud, and glass shattered everywhere. Chris kept hidden, keeping an eye to make sure his targets in the white sedan were in fact dead.

His eyes quickly zoned in on the back door of the Sedan creaking open. Chris clutched his rifle, in anticipation. Out was what seemed to be the young man he saw in the photo.

He rubbed his head, there was blood all over this poor kid. He stumbled to the driver's door, and screamed...

"MOMMY!" He fell to his knees crying. "HELP!!!!" The man got up, and ran to the other car to see if they could find help. Chris looked on in curiosity... He was mildly bothered by the sight.

The man, who Chris finally looked for in the file for a name, was Sorin. Sorin was sobbing at the crash. Chris stood up, putting his rifle in his bag.

He turned to leave, but... looked back at Sorin.

"I'm Sorry..." He whispered, before taking his escape route. it was clear his targets were dead.

August 12th, 2012



Chris was perched near the Zaibatsu. He had recently gotten a job to take care of an escapee from the Zaibatsu. Apparently they didn't want any information about their ongoings getting out. Chris rarely ever took on jobs regarding teenagers. This particular one was on the head of a fifteen year old boy. He looked at the photo. He was pale, so pale it looked like he had never really seen sunlight before. His hair was dark, and his eyes blue. This kid was tremendously easy to find in Tokyo. It was raining outside the hotel, and Chris kept an eye out of the window for his target.

"...son of..." His eyes widened a little. "No..." The files fell out of his hands, and he looked out of the window to see the kid running outside. Chris scrambled to the stairs where he ran down, and out of the hotel out the back. "HEY....!!!!" The kid turned, startled. Chris' heart was pounding. "Wait a second...!" Chris ran over to him in the pouring rain. The kid quickly grabbed a pipe, and slashed Chris on his side with it. He cringed, holding the wound. The kid threw the pipe, and ran. Chris stopped. Just looked at him as he ran away. His jaw clenched, and went back inside to his hotel room. He dressed his wound, and sat down to look at the file.

"Born October 1998..." He was confused. "That can't be right." Did Anna have another..?

Mid-October 1999



Nina found herself at her father's grave. It has been a year since his passing. Stupid Anna had blamed her for his death. Of course, Nina naturally blamed Anna. Just as Nina was placing flowers on her father's grave, she heard someone walk up behind her. She was now face-to-face with her father's killer.

Nina quickly drew out her gun and pointed it at Anna. She clips the safety off, and presses her finger on the trigger.

"You've got ten seconds to explain yourself, or I'll shoot!"

Anna's eyes were welled up, as she held a bouquet of flowers. "Nina, please... put the gun down..."

Nina frowned at Anna's comment. "What are you doing here?"

"I'm here to pay my respects. Same as you..."

"Father never loved you! Why would you even care!"

Anna shook her head. "No, Nina, you're wrong. He loved me. He loved you. He loved all of us. Papa wouldn't like it if we were fighting like this."

Just as Nina was about to pull the trigger, she found herself unable to shoot. She had a clear shot. But she couldn't do it. She looked back at her father's grave. Nina then sighed as she put the gun down and flipped the safety back on.

"I'll kill you next time, bitch..." Nina whispered to Anna.

Nina then walks away from the cemetery, smiling to herself.

February 1973...



"Huh? You're home... all by yourself?"

A small boy with long black hair done in a braid, smiled. "Yes, Mom and Fulong both said you would be here."

The brown-haired man sighed. "Well, I was planning on taking the whole family out to movie night, but I guess you'll do."

"Yay!"

Lei got in the car with his dad, as the two talked about his case. "Well, before I press charges, I was hoping to see everyone, but it seems that I'm just stuck with you."
"So what are we going to do?"

"We're gonna see a movie together! But it will be our little secret. Don't tell mom."

Lei smiled as he zipped his lips up and threw away the key.

Lei and his father made it to the theater and went to go see The Strongest Man in the world. The two watched the movie, shared a popcorn and finally once they were done, Lei's father decided to head out to the car. He went to the payphone booth and called the house. He spoke to his wife, nodding as Lei watched with his curious little eyes. Finally, his dad got off the phone.

"Mom's getting off of work soon. What do you say, you and I get some candy?"

Lei nods, smiling.

"Good. Here, go buy us something good! I'll pull the car around."

Lei then ran back into the theater and purchased two Payday candy bar for himself and his pops. However, once Lei stepped out he went searching for his father, but saw a large crowd of people surrounding someone.

"Dad! Dad! Where are you?"

Lei then pushed a few people out of the way, and saw his own father, resting on the sidewalk, underneath a pool of blood. He laid there, motionless, his eyes closed, and his lips shut. It was as if he had fallen asleep.

"Dad! Wake up! Dad! C'mon! Dad!" Someone pushed Lei away, as the paramedics came in and checked his pulse. They load the long-haired Chinese man onto the stretcher, as Lei helpelessly watched his dad get taken away. The police came in and put Lei in the back of the cruiser as Lei kept reaching out for his dad. However, Lei witnessed a blonde woman in a coat waltz by and take his dad's car. He could have sworn that woman smiled at him out of smite.

December 4th, 1994



"Did you hear..?" A woman said. She was sitting across from a man at the dinner table. The man was wearing a suit. His beard neatly groomed, and his brunette hair combed back. The woman however, was wearing a dusty pink robe. Her hair was a bit messy. "Hear what, Johanna...?" The man said. She was visibly angry. "Anna...! She- She's getting rid of it...!!" The man sighed, drinking his wine, "That's her decision.." He said, almost with a tone of sadness. Johanna slammed her hands against the table, "IT'S UNACCEPTABLE!!!!!!!!"

Richard Williams quickly stood, "Do not yell... She is here...." He hissed. Johanna glared at him, "We failed with her, Richard... This could be our chance to redeem ourselves..." Richard scoffed, "There's nothing wrong with Anna...!" Johanna laughed at him, "How could you be so blind..!?" She stood, to face her husband. "Don't act like you don't think she's Nina's understudy, because we both know that's the truth...."

Richard backed away a few paces from his wife, "Enough... If Anna doesn't want this responsibility, then that's her decision to make. If anything Anna is making the smartest move for her career. Keeping it will be a hindrance."

Johanna cringed, running through her hair with her fingers anxiously. "What about--

"I said enough! Go tend to Christopher, since you want to act like a loving mother all of a sudden..."

Johanna stood in the dining room, mouth ajar, shocked at what her husband just told her. "You'll regret this..." She said, gritting her teeth. Richard stopped, and turned his head. He said nothing, and continued walking away...
