Story:

Lei Wulong was born in the year of the Pig on May the 17th. He was born to two loving couples who had a 9-year-old son who was so excited to meet him. Life was lovely for the family until Lei’s father, an Interpol Agent from China, was later killed. Lei’s mother soon followed, unable to cope with her husband’s sudden passing. As a result, Lei was left to be raised by his teenage brother. Lei hated how strict and authoritative his brother was, feeling like he was treating him that way because their dad left him in charge. Eventually, once Lei hit 20 years of age, he ran away and moved to Victoria, Hong-Kong, and never kept in touch with Fulong.

Lei has spent the majority of his life solving international crimes and stopping criminals.  Though Lei has failed to bring some criminals to justice, Lei was still revered as a great cop. Eventually, Lei was tasked to stop both Kazuya Mishima and Jin Kazama during the sixth tournament. However, the whole operation was a disaster.  As a result, Lei was to be put on stress leave, due to the events that had transpired when G-Corporation attacked the ICPO HQ.

Lei learns from Wang that his father kept a journal during his investigations.  He recorded it in case he were to meet his untimely demise at the hands of the person he was investigating so that they may be brought to justice.  Lei remembers that his father was investigating the Mishima Zaibatsu at the time of his death.  Lei did eventually find his father's killer and get closure.  However, what Lei didn't know was that Heihachi had some secrets that died with his father.  Curious, Lei gets his Father's journal and decides to start his own investigation into what secret was Heihachi hiding, as well as insight as to why Steve was created.

Updated Bio:

Lei solved the mystery behind his Father’s death. He avenged him and brought Heihachi to justice by revealing to the world the Mishima family secrets. Lei took his time with his holiday vacation. He used the opportunity to reconnect with old relationships and build new ones. He also took the time to heal from old wounds, namely grieving the loss of every one of his friends who were all murdered that he blames himself for. Elise and Fulong helped him through his healing. In addition, Lei helped Elise morn the loss of Antonio as well.

However, Lei had to go see his uncle along with his brother and son. It was there that he learned his family’s special exorcism techniques and added it to his fighting style. Lei learned Ki-manipulation, which added more strength to his attacks, as well as enhanced his reflexes. Lei soon taught those same new acrobatic skills to his niece, hoping to aid her in her acting pursuits.

One day, Lei saw Lucky Chloe on TV. He noted that she worked for G-Corporation and realized that she would be the announcer for the next tournament being held on a ship. Lei tells Xianlong that this is her shortcut to acting. If they could impress Lucky Chloe with her acrobatics and flexibility, Xianlong could go on tour with Lucky Chloe, meet some actors and network from there.

Eventually, Lei did return to work after taking a two-month vacation. Lei had a new perspective as he was now ready to do police work again.

One day, Lei receives an urgent phone call from Elise that the Espelhar attacked her. Dropping everything, Lei immediately boarded the nearest plane and immediately met Elise in Poland. He used his newfound exorcism techniques to protect Alise’s home.

Lei wanted to suggest to the woman that she should move in with him so that he could keep a better eye on her, but felt that it wasn’t appropriate at the time. Instead, Lei settled by teaching Alise how to use a gun, and basic self-defense moves and hoped it was enough to protect the woman. Lei also wanted to accompany Alise every time she went to go see Anna, making sure the Espelhar wouldn’t attack her. He also discovered Anna’s pregnancy that way, but kept it under tabs.

He could pick up on Elise’s mood that she felt sad whenever she tended to Anna. Lei could tell that it wasn’t just because her dear friend, Antonio was dead. There was something else that made her sad: her barren womb. He tried talking to her about it, trying to reassure Elise that it was perfectly fine that she couldn’t have kids, but Elise would just avoid the question entirely and change topics.

He eventually confessed his feelings to her on Valentine’s Day of all days. The two have gotten closer ever since, as Lei began apartment-hunting. He was going to convince Elise to move in with him. He wasn’t sure how she felt about moving to Hong-Kong, but Lei didn’t want to go to Poland, but he wanted to stay in Hong-Kong. That way, he could support her while she goes to look for a job, but he hasn’t figured out how to tackle this subject or if she was even ready for the next step.

In the meantime, Lei did continue on his search into catching Feng Wei and Bryan Fury. He didn’t have much luck in finding the two but hoped that on the Poseidon ship, he’d find them both there.
