It was a long quiet flight for the father of now three. Marilyn drove ahead of them through the gates of Chris' childhood home. James was asleep, his head on Celina's shoulder. Chris looked up, and smiled. "We're here..." He said. He parked behind Marilyn in the roundabout, and exited the rental car. "I have been here in... a very long time." Hearing the commotion, James woke up, and his eyes widened at where he was. Getting out of the car, he stared at the mansion with a gaping mouth. "You lived... here!?!" He exclaimed. His father nodded, and put his hand on James' back. "Nina, Anna, and I grew up here..." Marilyn walked up to the door, and Christopher decided to wait for Celina and Marcella to walk in. James followed his sister closely as she opened the grand mahogany door on the tudor style mansion. James still looked shocked. He looked around at all the paintings and things. It was all so beautiful. James saw two very large paintings in gold and ornate frames on the wall, of a woman and a man. He tuned to his sister, "Are they..?" He looked back up, "Are those my grandparents..?" He asked. "That is our grandmother, Johanna... and next her is our grandfather Richard..." Marilyn answered. James stared at the paintings. "Dad looks just like grandpa..." was all he could say.

Marcella was in complete awe as she laid her eyes on the childhood residence her husband used to call home. Chris told her about this place back when they were dating, but she never thought that it would be this emasculate. Getting out of the car, Marcella wore a casual outfit it was enough to keep her comfortable for the duration of the ride. She walked into the mansion, hand in hand with Chris as they strolled through the massive home. "Chris.. I know you told me about this place, but, it's beautiful in person! And it's so well kept for it being up ever since you were little." --- Celina joined her brother and sister in the house as well, her attention was caught off-guard by the pictures of her grandmother and grandfather. Everything about this place was beautiful! She roamed the house until she ran across one of the family rooms with a grand piano in it, and it immediately caught her attention. Setting her bags down, she walked into the room and sat down on the piano stand.. "Wow.. this is so cool!" Celina said to herself as her fingers glided over the piano keys..

Chris snickered, "You calling me old..?" He asked, sarcastically. "A maid comes once a week to clean it, and an architect comes to do repairs when needed..." Marilyn said. Chris sighed, "Well... you've taken good care of it. Thankyou." Marilyn shrugged. "I'm retiring, it's been a long day... You know where everything is." She said, taking her leave. Chris looked around. He looked at the paintings of his mother and father, and smiled. "Holy moley this woman looks like Josie...!!!!!" Chris heard his son yell from the living room. Chris walked in to see his gawking at yet another painting. "Except blonde..." He turned to his dad, "Who is this..?" He asked him. Chris looked up at the painting, "That was my grandmother, Joanne Martin... She was a piece of work..."He laughed. "When I was seven, she threatened to whip me, and not just a spanking, I'm talking a for real whip, because I was slouching. She was very keen on the finer things in life, and having proper etiquette. Also ensuring that my mother would be in a position of wealth." Judging from the home he was in, she very much succeeded. "I'd like to think your sister gets her beautiful face from her mother, but... looking at the painting... She does favor Grandmother Joanne." Chris said. James, "What about your other grandmother..?" He asked. Chris looked around, "Um..." He walked to the chair his father used to sit. It had been reupholstered, it looked too new, but on the table was a a medium sized photo of a woman in a circular frame. "This is grandma Eva... I never met her. She died shortly before Mom and Dad got married... Apparently she was the first Williams to work with the Mishimas, as Jinpachi Mishima's secretary when the Zaibatsu first opened..."
James smiled at his mom, then back at the photo.

Marcella looked at the photo of the blonde haired woman, when the comment about Josie came to her attention, Marcella didn't mind. She always knew that Celina looked more like a Williams than a Torres. In fact, her only features of the Torres name is her hazel eyes, just like her mother. Other than that, she's all Chris. Or at least that's what she thought. Looking at all of the pictures, it seemed as though Chris came from a beautiful, elegant family that was ultimately tarnished by money and greed. Marcella flashed a smile at her son, before wrapping an arm around him, holding him at her side. She placed a small kiss on top of his head, "Hey. Why don't you go find Josie? So we can start unpacking our things okay?" --- Back in the family room, Celina was still sitting by the piano. Just when she was about to play it, she noticed a book of music and decided to open it. Out came a small picture of a baby, who had dark hair and bright eyes. She flipped the photo over to read the writing spelled out in ink, "Christopher James Williams." Celina was looking at a picture of her father as a baby, "Oh, I'm sure my mom would love this!"

Chris held his wife after their son ran off with the picture. "Looks like I'll be going down memory lane..." He said. "Oh wow..." He said, picking up another photo. This one was of himself. "Wow... This was many moons ago..." He laughed, looking at his own face more than 40 years prior.
He handed it to Marcella. "This was taken on the morning of my 20th birthday... I had woken up maybe twenty minutes before this was taken, and my mother snapped it as I was having my morning coffee... Didn't even have the chance to put the spoon in the sink..." He laughed. "After dad died, my mother became really attached to me..." He sighed, and took it back from her, placing back where it was. --- Meanwhile, James ran to find his sister. The house was so big though, he got lost. "Celina..?" He wandered into a room. The walls were in a red damask, with mahogany floors. The bed was easily a king, with pink and red draping hanging from the ceiling over it. He walked over to a large vanity area, and turned the lamp on by the ornate silver mirror. There were makeup brushes lines up perfectly across the table, and he ran his fingers over it. Was this his sister's bedroom..? He turned to see a photograph on the bedside table. He walked to it, and looked at it. There was writing on the frame in gold paint. His eyes widened and teared up at the realization of who's room this was....

Marcella held her husband close to her as she looked at the picture that he gave her. It made her smile looking at old pictures of Chris, it was as if she was learning a whole new side of him that she never had the chance to discover. Her eyes looked over at Chris as he explained his story, her heart fluttered not of joy but of sadness. She knew that Chris missed his mother even after all the horrible things she did to him. Once the picture was back on the stand, Marcella faced Chris and placed her arms around his waist. She flashed a small smile at him, trying her best to cheer him up. "I can understand why she grew attach to you, you were the only source of testosterone you were like a balancing act, haha!" Marcella joked. She placed her head on Christopher's chest, and closed her eyes. They didn't have as much alone time as they used to, so when times like this came, Marcella took advantage of it. --- Finally coming out of the family room, with the picture in hand, Celina tried to find her brother. This house was huge so finding him would become the ultimate challenge. She reached a room, after walking down many halls, she walked in and found her brother. "James! There you are! I've been looking all over for you!" Celina then noticed the pained expression on her brother's face. It didn't take her long to realize that she was in her aunt Anna's room. Walking over to her brother, Celina took the picture from him and smiled, "Hehe.. Aunt Anna was always a happy person." She pulled her little brother into a hug, and kissed the top of his head. "Don't worry James, we're gonna get this sorted out. I know you're in a lot of pain. I am too but we have to work through this together."

"She had friends..." he said. "And she did her makeup... and.." Tears streamed down his face. "She watched her son die... and.... Daniel is all alone..." He fell to his knees, clutching the framed photo of his great grandmother. "It's my fault... I brought her to Japan... I set her up for Liam to kill her..." He leaned his against the wooden stand, crying.
"It took Liam one day.... One fucking day.... He waited for years... How could he do this to me..!? I loved him..!"
His chest hurt, and his knees were cold against the wooden grain. "I gave myself to him, Josie... He was my everything.... And he used me...!"
He pulled his standing sister into an embrace, his head against her stomach. "He violated me in... the worst way possible...."
There was a moment of silence.
"It's not your fault..." He heard a monotone voice. He looked over to see his eldest sister draped in a lavender silk robe. Her blonde hair was pulled up, and all of her makeup was taken off. She felt... She felt the need to fix this. Why did she care..? With no thought, she placed her hands on both James and Celina's shoulders. He looked up at her, and pulled his other arm around her. She was confused, and placed her hand on the back of his head as he sobbed. She looked at Celina.
Looking down she picked up the photo of their great grandmother, Eva.
"I found a journal written by our grandmother about three years ago... She spoke a little of our great grandmother." Setting the photo on Anna's former bed, she pulled James up, and sat both him and Celina down.
"She said that Eva was... an extraordinary woman who broke many boundaries. She raised our grandfather by herself, which was unheard of at the time... She managed to work overseas, all because Eva loved her son so much..." She sighed. "She wrote that our Aunt was similar to her in the sense that she was a tremendously strong woman. That she could do anything she set her mind to. That in the end, even through Anna's jealousy of her sister... Anna was the strong one, because Anna could love... sometimes to much..."
She placed a hand on her brother's shoulder, and a hand on her sister's own. "Don't mourn the fact that she's dead... She was an assassin, it was inevitable... Celebrate the fact that she had so much to love..." Marilyn looked down. She was feeling that maybe... she too could have that piece that Anna regained. "And that you got to witness, and experience that love for yourself..."
James looked at her, and nodded. "Thankyou, Victoria..." He said.
She felt pained to hear him call her that. "My real name is Marilyn... You both can call me Mari, if you'd like..." She smiled a little.
---
Christopher laughed. "She always said it was because I looked so much like my father..." He sighed, "I wish you could have known her before the... crazy happened..." He chuckled. "She had her good moments... Perhaps even in some alternate universe, you two got along..."
He kissed the top of her head, and pulled her face up for a kiss on the lips. He then walked her up the stairs. "Come on... I have something to show you...!" He laughed. He brought her to his bedroom. The walls were a pale blue, with wooden floors. The king sized bed had jewel tone blue comforter with green accents. There was a cushy loveseat in the bay window, and three bookshelves filled the music, movies, and some comics. On the bedside table there was another photo of himself, Anna, and Nina as children playing outside.
"This is it..."

Nina finally arrived with her daughter Diana. What had taken the family so long was that Diana had to go grab her belongings as Nina then finally escorted her to Ireland. Nina stepped in the house, as she sighed to herself. It had been well over 40 years since she last set foot in this house. She nearly forgot how nice the place was, and how it was so elegant.
"Nina, why couldn't we live in a house like this?"
"Because mansions are boring..."
"No they are not! Look at the fountain! And look at all the paintings of grandma, and Auntie Anna..." Diana then gasped. "Were they secret cannibals, too? Am I a cannibal?"
Nina simply rolled her eyes. "Nobody is a cannibal. Nobody."

Marcella followed Christopher throughout the halls of his childhood home. This place seemed to go on for an eternity, at least that's what it felt like to her.
Soon, the married couple eventually came across Christopher's old room. Marcella took a step inside and looked around the once occupied room.
"Wow Chris! I've always wanted to see your old room!"
The picture of Chris and his siblings caught her eye, as she walked over to it and picked it up. Her thumb grazed across the old and dusty photo.
"You guys look so innocent here, not a care in the world."
Looking at the picture made Marcella think about her past as well, it reminded her of the times she too shared with her siblings, it made her miss home her home.

Chris smiled. "Well... My parents tried to make things a little normal for us when we were little... We weren't trained until we were teens." He said. He wrapped his arms around her waist and kissed the back of her head.
"C'mon... Let's go check on the kids." He said.
He took her hand, and walked around, "James..!? Celina..!?" He yelled. He walked around their home with Marcella before hearing Marilyn's voice. He peered in to his sister's old bedroom to see all three of his children at Anna's bedside.

Marcella followed Chris through the home only to find their children in Anna's room, it broke her heart to see her children distraught like this.
They both had a close bond with their Aunt Anna, especially James. Marcella knew that this would take a long time for this wound in particular to heal.
Marcella went over to her babies, and sat on the floor with them. She let James place his head on her lap as she ran her fingers through his hair, and Celina who laid her head on her mother's shoulder..
It was a time for them to mourn, yet simultaneously celebrate Anna's life.

"In all my years..." Chris said, walking into his sister's bedroom. "This is the first time I've stepped in her room without her threatening my life..." He chuckled. Marilyn stood up, looking to her birthfather. "I'll leave you.." She said starting to walk away. He took her arm, and stopped her. She turned, "What is it..?" She said.
Chris sighed, "Please don't go... I'm here for you."
Mari stared at him. "The gesture is kind, but not needed." She pulled away. "They need your comforting hand, not me." She said, walking away.
It was clear to Chris that she would never truly be close to him like James and Celina are. He sighed, heeding her words, and going to his other two children. "James... Josie..." He looked around. "First of all, how did you find Anna's room..?" He asked.
"Just wandering..." James said. He head still in his mother's lap.
Chris took all three of them into his arms.

"Well James and Josie, it's important to realize the type of woman your Aunt Anna was. She had her downfalls just like any other human, but she was strong willed, and determined."
Marcella kissed both James and Celina on their cheeks, "Not to mention, she loved the hell out of the both of you. She wasn't around much but I can definitely guarantee she would do absolutely anything for you two if she were here today."

James snuggled up to his mother, while feeling his father' embrace from behind. He cried silently. Chris agreed with his wife's words. "She's right... Anna didn't love many, but.. when she did love you, it was blinding and wonderful. When she returned here to Ireland, her biggest worry was if we would be okay with the two of you..." He chuckled. James then turned, and hugged his father tight. "I'm so sorry, daddy.." Chris shook his head. "It's not your fault, son... Don't let yourself believe that."
He looked at Marcella, "I think we've spent enough time in this room... Anna would definitely not want us in here crying over her death... She'd want us out there... living our lives. Being wild and spontaneous..." He smiled at both James and Celina, "Living our lives to the fullest. just like she did."
He then guided his family from the bedroom of his departed sister, and shut the door behind them. He placed his hand on the wood, and with wet eyes, he whispered, "Goodbye, sweet Anna..." He then turned to his family, and smiled. "Let's go light a fire in the fireplace..."

Marcella guided her children to the living room, where they sat down on the living room furniture. Looking over at her two children, she couldn't help but realize that there was something odd about Celina.
She usually not this quiet.
"Josie? Sweetie? What's wrong? You've never been this quiet before, is there something you want to talk about?" Marcella said to her daughter, she was concerned, this wasn't like Celina at all.
Celina looked over at her mother and sighed, "I'm just thinking about all of the things I'm going to miss at home while being here. All of my friends are going to prom, and the majority of them would wonder where I am."
Marcella pulled her daughter in for a hug, placing her head on her shoulder, "It's okay baby girl, there will be other proms, you still have your senior prom next year, and I can promise you it will be a lot better than this year." Marcella kissed the top of her daughter's head..
