After hearing about Li-Mei's run-in with a car-jacker who held her at knifepoint, Lei and his wife decided it was time to go check on their daughter out in Japan. The family of four all made it to Japan, as Lei also heard about a new King of Iron Fist Tournament about to begin. However, he had no intention in joining, as those 70 years of living have done a number or two on him. Joining would be suicide. Oh how he envied Wang. That man was 105 years old and he was still participating in Martial Arts tournaments still kicking ass and taking names. Lei, on the other hand, those days were long gone.
Bailong and Shenlong were both planning on entering the tournament. They pleaded and begged Lei, until finally the older man gave in and decided to let the two join in the tournament, representing the family. Because Lei couldn't fight, but his two sons can. Definitely. So of course, the two have undergone training with their sister. Hence why they were hanging out in Japan.
"Yo, Pops! Bailong and I are gonna go shoot some hoops at the gym." Shenlong said to his parents. The boy was well toned, as well as having his ebony locks going a little bit past his shoulders. He had a bit of a five-o'clock shadow, thanks to having Greek ancestry.
Bailong, the younger brother, was a little smaller and resembled his brother, though his hair was nicely cut and trimmed. Unlike his brother, his chin was neatly shaven, as he never skimps on his shaving, due to his Greek ancestry. He wasn't as athletic as his brother but decided to go join him, anyway. He smiled, nodding toward his dad.
Lei put down his glasses. "Okay. But be very careful! There are car-jackers carrying knives!"
"Oh, honey. It's fine. I don't think those boys are going to get into trouble." Helena replied, placing her hand on Lei's shoulder at an attempt to calm him down.
"We'll return before dark!" Shenlong said once more as Bailong nodded.
"Okay. Like I said. Be careful, sons." Lei finally said before getting back to reading his newspaper.
"Alright! We'll call you, too!"
The two brothers then left the hotel as they walked down the street. Shenlong was vocal and highly extroverted and he often spoke for Bailong, who was quiet and introverted. He really didn't mind, but it was okay. His brother was older, so it made sense.
