Wilson is Zakk's roommate and best friend since grade-school in Hong-Kong. The two became friends when Wilson tried to defend Zakk from a bully. The bully then decided to beat up Wilson, and at that point Zakk stepped in and fought the bully. He also attended the same college as Zakk and studied robotics. They both obtained their respective degrees together and decided to stay as roommates until they both went off on their seperate ways. Wilson is still in school, trying to obtain a doctorates and wishes to one day work for Violet Systems. Wilson is very intelligent and clever, but he's extremely socially awkward. In spite of this, he still often accompanies Zakk when the two go out for drinks. Wilson also knows a small-bit of Kung Fu he learned from sparring with the Lei family, but not quite enough to fight in a tournament against other fighters.
