The UN's top agent in the intelligence bureau (only Raven comes closer in skill and ingenuity). Faded scars all across her face as her husband and also has an unknown origin.
Daughter to a kind man and abusive mother, Tatyana ran away from home at the age of eight after nearly becoming a victim to her mother's abuse and witnessing her father's death at the hands of a gang.
Tatyana ended up at a strange dwelling in the middle of nowhere where an elderly man and a boy no older than five approached her. She was scared and only had the clothes on her back. Luckily, they didn't attempt to rob her and offered Tatyana the chance to make a new life for herself, an opportunity she wouldn't pass up.
Though it took time warming up to her new environment, Tatyana grew to love her new life though training on most days rendered her immobile due to not being as strong as her fellow classmate. As time went on, Tatyana's speed and tenacity increased dramatically, the trauma of her mother's constant beatings causing her to push past her limits and eventually became the lead ninja.
Shortly after the master's ill-timed death, Tatyana and Raven stuck together and joined the United Nations, the female kunoichi picked to lead a contingency of over forty men and women with Raven serving as her lead captain. Both hardly mentioned the master's death until a life-threatening incident nearing claimed Raven's life, Tatyana putting the blame squarely on her shoulders for nearly allowing death to befall on her beloved teammate.
What followed a few days later was an explosion of emotions that ensnared both ninjas, thus beginning their newfound relationship as more than mere boss and subordinate.
The war escalated, and Tatyana found herself amidst the chaos when she and Raven scoured the Manhattan war-zone. She found a small girl trapped under a boulder, desperate for help. Tatyana freed the girl and protected her from gunshots shot by a newfound rival.
Nina Williams.
Tatyana has been after the blonde assassin since she murdered Carla's parents and vows to ensure Nina spends the rest of her days behind bars so no other child, including her adopted daughter, suffer any more heartache. Despite scarring events, Tatyana did forever cherish sacred memories.
Her marriage to Raven along with adopting Carla and conceiving their son; Marcus.
However, their lives are at stake as the war hasn't ceased but a new tournament has arisen from the ashes after Heihachi Mishima's death at the hands of Kazuya. This time, the competition is held by Madison, a mysterious newcomer. Rumor has it she has hidden ties with foreign criminals and has brought former and new warriors to her gigantic ship to determine a new champion.
Reluctantly, Tatyana and Raven depart for this new mission after saying goodbye to their two children, their success on the mission crucial for Carla and Marcus' future.
